Farsight: Road Trip Advisor
When to leave and what's ahead
About
What's New in Farsight
1.1
October 14, 2026
- Made for iPhone Duo: open it and the map sits beside your trip; folded like a book or standing on a table, the screen works around the fold. - A new Lock Screen card. From an hour before you leave it counts down to your leave time; on the road it shows the drive as a bar with the big towns ahead and when you'll reach them, and whether you're on time. - Plan the drive back with the trip. Farsight asks whether you're driving back, books a return within the week with the trip, and for longer stays reminds you two days before to plan it, without using another trip. - Send to car: one tap puts your destination on your Tesla's screen, or share it to any car's app, from your trip, its details, or during the drive. - Changed cars? Switch cars during a drive, and Farsight uses that car's range from there on. - After a drive, Farsight asks what actually happened (as it said, worse or better, and whether it changed your plans) instead of asking for a grade. - Buying trips is simpler: 1 trip or 5, one-time purchases with no subscription. Trips never expire, and each includes the drive home. - New York road reports: construction, closures and events from 511NY. - A smoother home screen: the panel follows your finger, the trip box fills the screen while you type, and Cancel backs out of typing or a question. - "Leaving around 10" now means 10 when Farsight reads trips on your iPhone. - Security and reliability improvements, and Apple Watch planning waits until you've agreed to the terms on your iPhone.
