Full of deceptive ads that crash the app
Ads are designed to look like app functions and actual app functions are made very small and hardly noticeable. After three or four tries, mainly blocked by ads that cover function display, I got connected. But as soon as a new ad rotated onto my iPhone, the connection crashed. Garbage. Deleting and will look at skplayer instead.

A ma connaissance, il s’agit de la meilleure application pour partager l’écran d’un iPhone vers un iPad : elle ne nécessite pas de réseau wifi externe mais peut fonctionner en point à point, contrairement à d’autres solutions.

Connects but does not display
Sees other devices on the network but after connecting displays only a blank screen. Then it disconnects.

Usually works smoothly
Use phone as a camera to show math steps for online teaching with MacBook Air. Minimal lag. Phone rotation works! There is a lot to like when the app is humming along.
Casting sometimes quits and must be re-initiated. Perhaps from incoming calls/texts if I forget to use airplane mode?
Also, ads after connection demand extra steps. A little confusing during a class. It would be nice to have them show BEFORE connection to computer then have the app go into phone background immediately on connection leaving the red control strip at top - with the Fast Cast logo if you like
Would be happy to give 4 or 5 stars once I figure out how to deal with the “random” dropouts and can make connection transitions smoother.
