This App Don't Work No Mo'

A long time ago in a courtroom far far away...
This app worked marginally well.
Except when it would crash without warning.
Now it won't even load search results.
All I get now is a pinwheel ever turning.
This was a great idea executed horribly.
I wish y'all would fix it but that's probably wishful thinking...

Not happy.

I use fastcase through my bar association and have no problems, it is easy to use. This app is not at all user friendly. It crashes and I have tp keep logging in. Frustrating!

Can’t sign up as new user!

I can’t even sign in.

Randomly crashes after a few minutes.

Same as other users.

Free service from Bar works very poorly on IPAD and crashes

This app used to works OK. Not every search op ration results in XML parsing errors. It is free for our state and that used to mean something. Now it feels like our state is irrelevant to FastCase.

Poor development

App continues to crash without notice. Using it is like a rush to find what you are looking for before the app crashes. I have my Fastcase account through my bar membership and I hate having to use the internet app on my iPhone and iPad to do legal research when I have the Fastcase app on both devices. I hope that they will fix this issue soon as I am seeing reviews from years ago stating that the app crashes without notice. A simple update to fix this bug would make this app so much better.

Hasn’t been updated, app no longer works

App hasn’t been updated in seven years, it keeps saying XML Parrsing don’t waste your time they don’t keep their products up-to-date

Woefully deficient

My sympathies to Fastcase associates and affiliates.

Crashed twice in first 15 minutes

You can’t save your preferences so you have to go back and select your jurisdiction and other preferences each time. Continuously crashes so it’s really useless...all your work is gone in minutes

Useful App, but it crashes often

This is a useful research tool, too bad it crashes almost every time I try to use it on my iPhone! Please fix.

Useless. Buggy. Crashes constantly.

The State Bar pays for this but it’s completely useless. Google is better for legal research.

Not up to date

I used to use this for all of my research. The statutes and case law aren’t kept up to date. For Missouri they are at least two years old.

Needs updating. Was good; now rarely works.

This was a good app. Great app, even.

Now it rarely works. XML parsing errors. No update in 4 years.

TIP: You can still pull direct case cites. Searching, however, appears broken.

It is a shame. This was a great app, and their website does not work on mobile devices well (if at all).

I hope they update it. Until then? Only use it if you have the case cite.

Used to be great

This used to be the best research app out there, hands down. Unfortunately, it’s recently become almost entirely useless - can’t get any results for anything. After 10+ years of using FC I may have to switch to another service if they don’t get their act together.

Crashes constantly

Absolutely worthless. Just go to the website through your browser, this app never works and will only lead to frustration. They should remove it from the App Store, its that bad.

CRASHES!

This would be a fantastic app if it were stable. It constantly crashes on me. PLEASE FIX!!

Worthless

I like the computer PC version and am a subscriber. This app is awful with constant bugs and searches miss cases or time out to error. I actually glanced at it today and saw it was last updated 4 years ago. That is piss poor. Hey FastCase...... get rid of your app. You aren’t at all committed to it and it’s about to make us get rid of your other product

Worthless

App used to be pretty good for on-the-go research, but it hasn’t been updated in years and now is worthless for any purpose.

Crashes Constantly

I find a good case, I’m reading it and suddenly the app crashes. Over and over. Will Fastcase 7 fix this? I have a subscription through my Bar Association.

Can’t find basic phrases

I’ve been practicing for awhile now, and it’s entirely beyond me why the mobile app gives back an error every time I search anything more than one word at a time.

Absolutely useless for legal research as of 1/26/2019 by my experience...would gladly be proven wrong, but any app that claims to be legal research and can't return a search for “protection order”, “murder” or “theft” at the state level kinda fails hard....
