The best
Easily the best app for browsing I've tried. From the tabs to the feed sets, this makes Tumblr fun again. In-app upgrades are worth the money.
DESKTOP VERSION PLEASE
I've been looking for a desktop version of this for AGES! thank you for finally making a way to "sort" the blogs I follow :D works great, although it'd be nice if we could add 200+ blogs to each feed rather than just 15.
Love it but needs to be more stable
I adore this app for browsing tumblr. The only thing is that it stops loading after a few swipes through my dash and won't load older posts. Enable endless scrolling in grid view and it would be the perfect app for me. I would also rather be able to edit tags like the tumblr app instead of the default way in this app. Other than that it's a great app.

It'd be nice if you could hold down the reblog button to chose between sideblogs and execute a quick reblog! That would make this a five star app

Fabulous app love it for me it needs to have a slideshow to make it perfect but it's 5 from me
Very good tumblr client
I have tried official, 3rd party tumblr client, this one is the best so far.
App is amazing, but here's 5 things I want...
1. Get rid of the random "t" in the name under the app icon. It looks rather silly.
2. I really want a feedback option added to the app in the side menu. Maybe we can email or iMessage you guys feedback! :)
3. Is there a way I can get the app's scheme URL? I have an app launcher in my Notification Center that I use like crazy but I don't know the app's scheme URL to add to the launcher so I can launch the app from any other app.
4. I can't edit my tumblr profile photo in the app. Why? Is that due to Tumblr's app API or what?
5. Being able to change the app's color would be nice! White is kinda blah. 😂
Other than that, everything works and looks great!

Really great, but not a full-fledged replacement for the official tumblr app
Pros:
- The app feels much faster and more responsive than tumblr's official app.
- The grid/flow dual layout is really nice and easy to use.
- It's missing a couple big features (see cons), but everything it does have is great, and it has a lot of other features that the official tumblr app doesn't. For example, a quick shortcut to share all images in a post, instead of just the post link or having to save each image individually in order to share them.
- The app's ads are less common and muuuch less annoying than the official app's ads and sponsored posts. They also don't pretend to be normal posts to trick you into looking at them.. In the fastfeed app, there's usually (but not always, which is nice) just an ad occupying a small rectangle at the bottom of the screen, like many free apps. Full-screen ads can also appear, but these are pretty rare and are easily closed. Sometimes a full-screen ad will be a video though, which I don't like, but for comparison it's less annoying and MUCH less common than the ads on youtube videos! I greatly prefer fastfeed's ad solution to the one on the tumblr app. There's an in-app purchase to get rid of the ads if you're into that sort of thing.
- Good features when viewing a blog like viewing only a specific post type or jumping to older posts.
- Blog descriptions display images, unlike official app
- If a new or reblogged post fails to post because of a drop in connection, it is moved to an "offline posting queue" which you can access at any time. It'll be automatically retried when it detects the network is back, or you can click "Retry Now" or "Discard (Delete)". It could be used to purposely make posts while offline so that they automatically post when you have a connection again. This is much better than when the official tumblr app fails to connect to make a post, which causes it to just be permanently lost without telling you, or to be suddenly posted the next time you make a post from the app, without warning or any indication that it had it saved.
- Intuitive and convenient "recent tags" feature when posting.
- Allows you to re-order the tags of a post if you made them in the wrong order
- "Open in tumblr app" as an option on all posts 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 More apps that are alternatives to a website's official app should include such a feature!
- You can create "feedsets", which are basically multiple dashboards (the app refers to blogs and tags collectively as "feeds"). So you could for example have a feedset with just your friends in it, and another for art blogs you like, and another for the #tags of shows you like.
- The dynamic tab design is refreshingly flexible(!). You can have tabs open for your dashboard, a specific user, a post's notes, a specific post, a tag, etc., all at once (up to 5 without in-app purchase, see cons) and without having to decide between losing where you are in a tab, or not having access to core features (like how the official app is designed...). In the official app, tab design is static and therefore very limited.
- Very user-centric design in general
- Has a section in the settings listing "Known Limitations" of the app, so they aren't trying to hide anything that's missing from users. Things listed on that page will be marked with a * in the Cons below.
Cons:
- * It's missing an notifications/messaging tab. When I asked the devs about it they said it was because the tumblr API doesn't have those functions, so I can't really blame them for Tumblr being poorly coded. It's not a deal breaker in my opinion, but you will likely want to keep the official tumblr app installed in addition to this app. They may implement a workaround for this at some point, which would be nice.
- * You can view your inbox, but you can't send or reply to asks or fanmail (the "open in tumblr app" button makes it barely matter though)
- * No access to your account's "tracked tags" list
- * Viewing the notes on a post can only display the 50 most recent notes (but again, the "open in tumblr app" button makes this trivial)
- There's 2 optional in-app purchases: "Ad Remove + Tab Options" for $3, and "Unlock Feedset Limit" for $2. The first removes the app's occasional ads and unlocks some tab options (I can only find "Max # of tabs" and "Tab History size"), and the second one allows you to put up to 15 "feeds" in a feedset instead of 5, and allows you to make 50 feedsets instead of 2. (even without paying you can still apparently import up to 20 feedsets via URL, but I haven't looked into that.) I definitely don't have a problem with site apps like this having optional paid features, but having two separate ones that are both pretty pricey is kinda lame. I think either one of them should be made cheap (like $0.99) or they should be combined into a single $3-4 purchase. The app is totally fine without paying though, don't worry.
- Links to pages within a blog you're currently using (like an about page) don't seem to work? Links leading outside the current blog work fine. A workaround is to click the "open in tumblr app" and click the link from there, or hold-press the link to copy it and open it in your web-browser app.
- It seems to not handle the continuity of a feed (most obviously the dashboard) as well as the official tumblr app. When it goes to load the "second page" of my dash it seems to have trouble compensating for the posts that were made between then and when I previously refreshed my dash. Not much of a problem, just have to scroll a little extra.
- The sideways swipe detection for switching to grid layout is a little sensitive, I do it on accident a bunch. Just a tiny complaint.
- Some things could be streamlined, like the posting options when making a post, but at this point I'm just nitpicking.
TL;DR: it's great! keep the official app installed though.

Perfect stable tumblr alternative app
This app is incredible and superior in nearly every possible way. Two minor tweaks would make this my go-to app.
First the already great features.
1)Pictures, gifs, and videos load very quickly.
2)Tab functions are amazing.
3)A great deal of customizability.
4)Creating your own feeds is invaluable!
5) Programmers and developers actively listen to feedback
Now what could be adjusted to likely allow this app to bar none be the most preferred tumblr browsing app?
1) An ability to like and reblog from grid view. As seamless as the transition from flow to grid and grid to flow view is, the ability to do these actions from grid view would place this app light years ahead of the official tumblr app!
Please, if considered, allow non-force touch iPhones and devices to be able to use this function as well! Thank you!
2) The ability to login with a different tumblr user name only within a particular tab to manage likes and reblogs in conjunction with #1 mentioned before.
Can place restrictions such as only 2-3 active accounts with 1 per tab. Again, this would be different than the primary account logged in!

Simple and stylish app. I paid for the upgrade to remove the ads, which aren't too annoying, I just liked the app so much I wanted to get the full screen. Much better than the tumblr app!
