FastLocated

FastLocated takes you straight to the shelf in a large DIY store. Search by name, article number or barcode and you get the answer you actually need in the aisle: which aisle, which rack, which level — and which side of the aisle it is on, resolved for the direction you are walking in. WHAT YOU DO WITH IT Find — where is this item? The floor plan jumps to the bay, with aisle, rack and level. Route — how do I get there? Straight to the map with the walking route, step by step, with direction arrows along the floor. List — several items in one trip. FastLocated works out the shortest order to collect them all and finishes at the tills, so you stop walking the same aisle twice. WALKING IT Press Start and you get one screen at a time: how far straight on, and what happens at the end of it. On arrival you see the bay, the level and which hand the item is on. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT DOES NOT KNOW FastLocated does not track you. No location services, no bluetooth beacons, no camera. The route comes from the store's real floor plan; you take the steps yourself. It never pretends to know where you are standing.
