Perfect app for practicing on the go
Great app
Super helpful for learning the guitar
Gamification of music theory
If you’re learning to play guitar and eager for a way to practice getting chords, fret positions (and much more) memorized it’s hard to find something better than this app. There’s a lot to unpack here and all of it is engaging and beneficial for learning on the go or when you can’t actually have your guitar.

Fat Tones takes your guitar playing to the next level
It’s a great app for those lacking in guitar based music theory. As a self taught guitar/bass player, I found the “builder” and “trainer” tools very helpful in visualizing notes and scales across the entire fretboard. The “note blaster” keeps it fun and the many features makes it appealing to both beginners and advanced players alike. Awesome tool!

Great guitar Trainer
I’m really impressed with the Fat Tones: Fret Board Trainer. I love the pedalboard design layout. The small activities are great to learn the fretboard in a systematic way. The activities with a guitar are very helpful. I also like the activities I can do on the go. No more wasting time on my phone when I’m bored instead I can level up my fretboard knowledge! Whether you’re just starting out or trying to strengthen your guitar fundamentals, this app is worth it.

Awesome!
I’m finally starting to learn the notes on strings other than low E. Creative activities and useful! Highly Recommended.
Super helpful!
Really enjoying this fretboard trainer. It’s simple to use, the practice sessions are quick, and I can actually see myself getting faster at finding notes. Great little app for building confidence on the fretboard.
Nice training app!
This app is really nice in helping a new learner as well as an experienced guitarist to know your neck well! The pentatonic builder is very useful in knowing which notes are used in whichever key you’re in. I particularly liked the note blaster, it’s fun and it keeps you engaged! Good way to know your fretboard!
