About

Who pays the bill? Who goes first? Who drives? Where are we eating? FateCard settles it in 30 seconds: the answer goes under metallic foil, sealed and provably fair, and everyone scratches it off together on one phone. No account, no sign-up, works offline. WHAT PEOPLE SETTLE WITH IT • Who pays the bill, who buys the next round, who picks up the check • Who goes first, who drives, who does the dishes — a chore picker nobody can argue with • Where to eat, what to eat, what to watch — a restaurant picker and movie picker for groups that can’t decide • Truth or dare, dares and forfeits for game night, sleepovers and bachelorette parties • Tie breakers, heads or tails without a coin, drawing straws without straws • Road trip games, date night ideas, family game night, icebreakers for a team lunch or a class • Secret Santa, gift exchange and white elephant draws with private reveals • Gender reveals, pregnancy announcements, surprise gifts — sealed in a scratch card and handed over • Brackets: eight options in, head-to-head rounds, one winner THE CEREMONY Decision wheels and finger choosers end it in two seconds and nobody feels anything. FateCard makes it a moment: real foil that peels away under your finger, haptics tuned like a lottery scratcher, a 3-2-1 countdown, a spotlight on the final two cards, and a reveal the whole table watches. SIX WAYS TO SETTLE IT • Who Pays — one marked card hidden among the group. Loser buys. • Group Pick — one shared card binds everyone. Dinner spot, movie, playlist. • Draw — everyone pulls from a deck. Truth or dare, forfeits, chores, icebreaker questions. • Secret Match — private pairings for Secret Santa and hidden roles. Nobody draws themselves. • Sealed Cards — write a message or a gift, seal it in a scratch card, time-lock it, and hand over the phone. • Bracket — eight options enter, elimination rounds, one winner. PROVABLY FAIR — NOT “JUST TRUST US” Before anyone scratches, the full assignment is sealed into a cryptographic fingerprint (SHA-256) shown on screen. When the game ends, your phone re-checks the math and shows the receipt. Nobody — not even the phone’s owner — can change what’s under the foil. Nothing you can buy changes an outcome. Fairness is not for sale. ONE PHONE, OR EVERY PHONE • Same table: 2–6 players scratch at the same time on one phone. Pass-the-phone play with no internet needed. • Different cities: host an online room, friends join with a 6-character code or QR, and everyone scratches the same sealed deal at the same moment — server-sealed, verified on every device. Rooms expire after 24 hours. YOUR CREW KEEPS SCORE Losses become debts in your crew’s ledger until they’re settled — or pardoned by mercy vote. Stats, loss streaks, luck scores, and a hall of fame for golden pulls. A random name picker forgets; FateCard remembers who owes who. GOLDEN CARDS Rare foils that turn an ordinary loss into a table-wide event. DECK SMITH — YOUR OWN DECKS Describe a theme and get a ready-to-play deck: dares for a bachelorette, prompts for a road trip, forfeits for game night. Five decks a month are free; Foil+ makes it unlimited. PACKS Party Starter, Office-Safe and Secret Santa are free. Couples (date night decks), Road Trip (car games, next-stop picks) and Extreme Dares (17+) are one-time packs. FOIL+ (optional) An auto-renewing subscription with unlimited Deck Smith decks and premium foil finishes (Aurora, Gilded, Noir), monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account; it renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. FateCard is fully playable without it — and no purchase ever affects an outcome. Privacy: no ads, no tracking, no account. Local games never leave your phone.
