The Fatimid Calendar is based on a system attributed to Imam Jaffer Al-Sadiq (PBUH) and was historically used in Fatimid Egypt. It follows a specific calculation for month lengths, with odd-numbered months having 30 days and even-numbered months having 29 days, except for Dhu al-Hijjah in a leap year.
Common use cases include keeping track of Islamic holidays and events, scheduling personal appointments using either Hijri or Gregorian dates, ensuring timely prayer observance, and finding the Qibla direction for prayer.
