Sending faxes on my phone
Fax Mate has become one of the more useful utility apps on my iPhone and I wanted to take the time to write a thorough review because I think it deserves the recognition. I first downloaded the app out of necessity when my doctor’s office told me they needed medical paperwork faxed rather than emailed. Like most people I assumed faxing was a thing of the past and was genuinely surprised to find out how many industries still rely on it. Healthcare, legal, financial, and government agencies all still use fax as a primary or backup method of sending documents. The setup was easy. I downloaded the app, made an account, and sent my first fax in under five minutes. The interface is clean and easy to follow. The main screen walks you through the process step by step with no clutter or confusing menus. You pick your document source, which can be a photo from your camera, an image from your library, or a PDF from your files. You type in the recipient fax number and hit send. The app takes care of the rest. One of the things I like most is the scan quality. When you use the built in camera scanner, the app automatically detects the edges of your document, corrects the angle, and bumps up the contrast so the result looks sharp and professional. I have faxed medical forms, signed contracts, and insurance paperwork, and the recipients have always been able to read them without any issues. Scan quality has never been a problem. Delivery confirmations are another standout. Every time I send a fax I get a notification telling me whether it went through. This is huge when you are sending something time sensitive. You do not have to call the recipient to check if they got it. The confirmation usually shows up within a minute or two. I have not had a fax fail to deliver when the number was entered correctly. The subscription is fair in my opinion. When you factor in the gas, time, and hassle of driving to a shop to send a single fax, the app pays for itself pretty quickly. I have used it enough to justify the cost several times over. No hidden fees, no surprise per page charges, and no pushy upsells inside the app. The app has worked great across multiple iOS updates. No crashes, no bugs, no weird performance issues. Customer support got back to me quickly the one time I had a question. The developers clearly care about the product and keep it maintained. If you occasionally need to send a fax for work, medical, legal, or personal reasons, Fax Mate is the app I would recommend without hesitation. Does exactly what it promises, the experience is polished, and it has saved me a ton of trips to print shops already. Five stars.

Best fax app on iPhone
This app is exactly what I needed. My doctor’s office required me to fax some medical forms before an upcoming appointment. I do not own a fax machine and had no intention of buying one. I found Fax Mate in the App Store and it solved the problem immediately. I photographed the documents using my iPhone camera, entered the fax number, and pressed send. The fax was delivered in under a minute. I received a confirmation right away. The scan quality was excellent. No cutoff edges or blurry text. This is the app to use if you need to send a fax from your phone.

Best Fax App
Every time someone asks me to send a fax I used to groan because it meant finding a machine somewhere. Not anymore. Fax Mate lets me do the whole thing from my couch. I scanned some tax documents my accountant needed, typed in her fax number, and it was delivered before I finished my coffee. The interface is straightforward with no learning curve. No ads popping up every two seconds either. Confirmation receipts give you peace of mind that the fax actually landed. Genuinely one of those apps you forget you have until you need it, and then you are so glad it is there.
