This app makes it so hard to see the paper! I do not want to be siloed into topics, or forced to see a side by side the mini paper and individual articles enlarged.

Paid subscription should be better
Not many news outlets are paid for. I’m finally paying to see and so far not impressed with news. Same things day to day. Be more aggressive with your articles and content.
iPad issue
Can no longer read the e newspaper on iPad. Missing icons on iPad. Called to report it and was told it will be fixed. Still not fixed

This app was presented to me with an offer for a trial period of 6 months for $.99. After the 6 month trial period, the monthly rate would be $7.99. Today I noticed that my bill for the $.99 trial subscription period indicated that the trial period ended one month from the date of my activating the subscription, not at the end of the 6 month and indicated when I activated the subscription. Buyers Beware!!!!
I too was fooled into thinking that for $9.99 for the first year and $69.99 for the subsequent year. I was billed 79.99 with no indication of the trial year. I cancelled the subscription with the app indicating that I can access the paper until 9/22/24. Beware, they are not giving all the information regarding the payment and thus actual billing.

Better of the two apps
The faux newspaper version is horrid. If I wanted a news paper I’d buy one, and that layout on a phone doesn’t not translate at all.
This app actually makes sense and is much easier to read and navigate articles.
That said it doesn’t get updated with the latest articles as fast and it’s not the native app chosen when opening an article from an email, while on my phone.

Great paper! Get your logins fixed! I have to guess on a direct login or using the online edition to get to the full paper.
Where are the daily crosswords?
I want to do the Fayetteville Observer crosswords and print them out… The only way I can do it is delete the app sign online go to the E edition and print them out… The ones inside the app are USA today crossword‘s that’s not what I want. Why can’t I see the edition inside the app?

Your app is full of ads, you collet my data, and most of your stories are just reprints from other news outlets. Now you want me to pay you for someone else’s work...I think not. Greed is becoming common and I refuse to give in.

You eliminated the e-edition without notifying the subscribers. Customer service is a complete joke. They will not answer the phone and take Two weeks to answer email and then it is snarky.

Please return e-edition to the app as an option.
