Calling in orders was 100 times more convenient
Hate to write a bad review because I used to love this place and come so often but since the online ordering has been added I'm very disappointed. First the $14 minimum isn't practical for all customers. Not everyone wants to get a sweet pie with their meal. I happen to rarely ever eat sweet foods because I have food allergies. And I'm a self employed young adult so I can't afford to spend $22 on lunch every time I want to come here. I know you all know there's people that come in for just a savory pie, and while it may be a business tactic to force people to get a sweet pie too, it's messed up and inconvenient to set the minimum at $14 and not $10 (OR NOTHING because I'm sure there's people who just want a sweet pie for $4; setting a minimum is so pretentious and leaves a bad taste in my mouth when it comes to this place now 🙄). You're gunna lose a long time customer for it. Second the inability to customize the pies at all is really annoying, much less so than the first issue but still notable. Maybe those problems don't matter to you but I wanted to write a review in case they do. It's difficult enough to make it in before y'all close and I would wake up early to do it, but now that I can't order online, or call anything in like I used to, there's no way for me to guarantee the one pie I want that day will be there by the time I make it. So essentially this is making it impossible for me to come again. Hope this can change in the future so I can start getting pies to go as frequently as I used to.
