Пользуюсь приложением с покупки самого первого смартфона, ничего более удобного для себя так и не нашла. Шикарное приложение, спасибо разработчикам

Появились проблемы с загрузкой книг
Когда на устройстве не хватает несколько книг, то бывает после первой удачно загруженной книги остальные не загружаются. Иногда даёт загрузить несколько. Ситуация касается и Apple и Android.
Doesn’t support batch importing. Dropping this app completely.
It may sound dramatic, but after realizing you can only import books one at a time I’m changing my review to 1 star. Every other reader does this fine, but FBReader simply does not support it without using a desktop computer. 1/5 dont recommend.
Hardly usable, too many glitches
Too many glitches. Problems with animations. Recently the app just turns on 100% brightness and no way to lower this setting.
Missing shift-select text
First thing I tried to do didn’t work, immediately uninstalled. I needed to copy a couple pages to the clipboard. No luck, you can’t shift-select text. App *only* allows you to highlight what you can see within your current view.
Screen brightness cannot be changed
The app ignores my phone’s screen brightness settings and automatically dims the screen while reading. There is no way to increase the brightness in FBReader, which makes reading very difficult, especially during the day. Please add an option to control the brightness or respect the system brightness setting.

Bookmarks Don’t Work
I’ve purchased the app thinking that would enable bookmarks, it doesn’t, bookmarks are still disabled.
Font settings not working
After updating to iOS 26.3, I found that the Chinese font can no longer be customized according to user preferences.
The ONLY E-Book Eeader That Supports Volume Buttons to Turn Pages & Custom Gesture Zones.
I like to grip my iPad from the front of the screen while reading books. I find it unnatural and difficult to support the weight while only holding the edges; so being able to disable touch controls entirely and only using volume buttons, OR limiting touch interactivity to only a small portion of the screen is an absolute must. This is the only reader app that supports this on iOS. Not sure why those features are basically not available on iOS, but I came from android where those features are commonplace. So after switching to an iPad, finding this app was a godsend.

You would think following numerical order would be easy for apps but they all seem to had an aneurysm so the go 1 thens tens then two.
Bad design, multiple bugs
FBReader suffers from poor design decisions and a number of recurring bugs that negatively impact the overall user experience. Basic interactions feel unintuitive, and the app does not always behave as expected. Additionally, support is slow and unresponsive, making it difficult to resolve issues in a timely manner.

любимое приложение для чтения, которое я использую уже много лет с подпиской. самое удобное для меня и приятное по интерфейсу и возможностям. было бы здоровое если бы вы добавили возможность закреплять книги сверху списка, а также разделение книг по папкам, так как мне хотелось бы отделять литературу, которую я читаю для учебы, от тех книг, которые я читаю для развлечения.

Almost on Par
Been a user on Android for well over a decade. Good to see so many features supported here! Just a few missing features that I'd like to see, though (assuming I buy the premium version for full library support, that is): rotation options and a light/dark mode button that can both be independent from system settings, somewhere to see bookmarks across all books, and an option to use the old-style footer progress indicator (the box(es) with a transparent background). Would love to see these gaps filled soon!

I love your app! But it disappoints me that I have to use another app to read books in pdf. I would prefer to keep all the books in one place, especially that you have features to translate text. Please please add an ability to read pdf🙏

Keeps crashing
Was looking for an app to sort books by series and this app does do that. I tried the free version (limited to ten books) and it worked so I used the in app purchase. With the ten book limit gone I loaded my library of epubs. After that the app kept crashing and was unusable. I have attempted to cancel using report a problem and hope that worked because the only reason for cancelling I could use is “other”.
