Can’t connect to 2 out of 3 cameras.
I don’t recommend these cameras. I only gave a 2 star review because I can still connect to 1 camera.

Here we go again…new iOS update and no more notifications!
Why is it that whenever there’s a new major iOS update, the first thing that the app stops doing is showing notifications??!! EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! Like, if you know it keeps happening, why isn’t there a permanent and preventative fix?? Come on now! Y’all JUST FIXED the issue from the previous year’s update like a month ago so are going to have to wait another 9 months to a year for y’all to get it together with a fix again?? Ugh!

Worthless
App never works properly. Currently server will not send motion detection notifications. Customer support is off-shore that never are able to help. DO NOT USE THIS APP OR FDT cameras!
No longer connects
It was working beautifully for a few years- now the app longer connects to the cameras outside the home. What’s the point of security cameras if I can’t check in when I am away from home? Save your money and buy elsewhere
Frustrated
App stopped working a few months ago. The Support Team says they are aware and a new App is being created. I have 5 cameras monitoring 2 properties that are useless till FDT sorts this out.

I have 4 cameras that used to work well. About 2 months ago they all stopped working. Tech support says they are working on it, but nothing yet! They wont give any timeline for resolution.

After using these cameras for 5 years, I have to throw them away because the FDT View app does not connect to the cameras from outside the Home Wifi. I contacted FDT company and they said their server is not working and they don’t know when they will have a working server. I’ve been waiting for a month already and no news. Even if I wanted to sell the cameras nobody would buy cameras they cannot view over the internet. Total waste of money and irresponsible company.

Customer service and App are terrible!!!
Everything was fine until about two months ago. I noticed that I couldn’t connect to the cameras at work. I’m not connected to WiFi at work because the cameras never connected when I’m on work WiFi. So using data it always connect. But one day it stopped working. I got home and connect to my home camera when I was on the WiFi at home. I also have cameras at a vacation home that I can’t connect to unless I’m on that WiFi. I sent number of emails keep getting the same answer we’re working on the issue. Still hasn’t been fixed. Bottom line find a different camera to use these are the worst.

Remote access failure
I have 3 FDT in cams and as of June 20th only one is visible through remote access. All three can still only be viewed on my internal WiFi network.
I called FDT tech support and they said that they are aware of the issue and are working on it.
As of July 7th still no access or update from FDT.

Fdt camera
After a year of having the camera all of my cameras now say that there is no Wi-Fi disconnected after resetting them all. Still getting disconnected. So whatever update they did the last time screwed up the cameras. All 5 of them
Disappointed
After the last update in July you can no longer download video to iphone along with many other issues, really disappointed after I got all 5 FDT cameras situated now I have to trash them an d replace 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼5 stars down

I like the camera and the app. But changes do need to come to the app. The app is very outdated. It works alright, but sometimes it freezes here and there, and is not letting download video recordings to my personal gallery on my phone. I can save snapshots I take to my gallery, but not video recordings. Other than that I have no complaints

Great app but needs a update.
This app is great it works pretty nicely but needs to have bugs fixed, optimized, and updated for IOS 11, also I’ve noticed in iOS 11, 12 and 13 I don’t get notifications for Motion Alarms so please fix this ASAP! Thankyou!
No sound
Cameras were working perfectly but now I cannot get sound from any of the cameras on the app. When I view them on other than app I can get sound. No sound on app.

Find another camera
The motion detection stopped working altogether. When you press the speaker icon, a constant horrible and irritating feedback is heard. There are no microwaves on, no fans running, no TV or radio either. Just...the...camera. As for the speaker icon, good luck with that one! If you can actually get it to work, you sound like you’re in a really bad static zone. We’ve done the factory reset and reinstalled the app all in hopes it would fix the issues. Nope. As for support...they’ll tell to do the same. Find another camera and save yourself the hassle.

Motion notification?
Camera doesn’t not give motion notifications anymore and It won’t record when motion is detected. It used to do that. Please fix this problem. Thanks.

When I first installed this app, I would get a notification on my iPhone anytime my camera motion sensor detected movement. Now, I don’t get them.
Ok, I have 2 issues now
1. Time keeps resetting to Central Time. I’m Eastern Time and every time I set it and save, go back out and come back in, it’s back to Central.
2. If I leave email alerts to 1 picture, I get notifications on my iPhone and email, but when I set it to 3 pictures, I only get an email and it’s 2 hours after the alarm. I also want a notification I have it turned on.

Worked briefly....
...then I tried to change password and now I can’t add camera. Couldn’t get email alert to work either. Going to pick up something more reliable
