Incredible app theme colors and automated video… Wanting more

The blue app theme colors and automated videography are incredible… Beyond my expectation… Love it!!! Any chance for a “bird of the day widget( full phone width rectangle) “and bird of the day notification” to brighten my world every day as well?

Beautiful app...Update

UPDATE. Seems to work OK now. But still no updates. Nice departure from other birding apps but many birds are missing and video & images are unavailable offline. And why does it keep reminding me that purchases are not allowed when I already paid for app? Still, no regrets.

Fascinating

This is just such a wonderful app. I now prefer this over any other bird ID application. The videos are much more helpful than photos alone and it’s full of useful information that makes birding and identification that much more enjoyable. The user interface is beautifully done. Thank you for creating this!

So fun!

This app is so much fun to browse! It’s simple to find a specific bird but I also really love to pick a bird at random. I can easily become more familiar with songs and flight patterns.

Loading issues

Tried to load this twice, the cute little birds continue to fly around endlessly. I stood right by my WiFi, but didn’t help. I’m frustrated, ready to delete permanently 😡
Isn’t that funny I’ve sent this 1 star review and some it doesn’t show up on the reviews. Humm
Why is the owners hiding it? Only the praises show up. Wonder why?

So easy to use!

I love this app! It makes it really easy to identify birds, even for a relatively inexperienced person like me. I can easily find the bird I’ve seen, hear it’s call and see it in flight. Very thorough and easy to follow. I love the variety of footage and photos.

Wonderful, easy to use app

Great for identification in the wild, logging your sightings, or just browsing for enjoyment. The videos show clear examples, which I have found more helpful than a single photo or drawing. As a whole the app is both informative and entertaining- I recommend to anyone interested in gaining appreciation and knowledge for birds and their song.

FeatherFlix - an invitation into nature

For me the most compelling reason to engage with FeatherFlix is the pure enjoyment of watching and listening to birds. That enjoyment engenders kinship with the natural world and the desire to go into nature and see actual birds. While videos are a helpful and entertaining 2D representation and a learning aid, there is nothing like the thrill of searching for and watching birds in their habitat. FeatherFlix helps us know names, where to look for each bird, and how to decode behaviors. It is a rare gift to those who choose to open it.

Thanks for the gracious review. FeatherFlix is a work in progress and we'll continue to build content, add new birds -- headed for Laguna Atascosa in May in hopes of filming Aplomado Falcon.
