Feel the Need

Feel the Need is a free GPS speedometer that does one thing well. Choose a classic analog dial with an animated needle and a redline, or a large digital readout you can take in at a glance. Switch between MPH and KM/H any time and your choice is remembered. A signal indicator shows GPS fix quality so you know when to trust the number, and the screen stays awake while in use. It also tracks your top speed for the session, with a one-tap reset. WHY THIS ONE Most speedometer apps are cluttered with accounts, ads, trackers, and features nobody asked for. This one has none of that. It opens, it shows your speed, and it gets out of the way. PRIVACY No ads. No accounts. No third-party code of any kind. Location is used only to calculate your speed on your device, it is never recorded, and it never leaves your iPhone. FREE The app is free and stays free. There is an optional tip jar if you want to support development. IMPORTANT Feel the Need calculates speed from your device's GPS receiver. Readings are provided for informational purposes only and are not official or certified measurements. Accuracy depends on GPS signal quality and may be affected by buildings, tunnels, terrain, and weather. This app is not a substitute for your vehicle's speedometer. Always obey posted speed limits and all traffic laws, mount your device securely, and never operate your device while driving.
