About
Fei Chang Wen gives crews and passengers the same turbulence timeline for a flight: flight deck and cabin share one view.
Crew members open the collaborative link shared by the crew and the flight data is saved on the device automatically. Passengers can ask the cabin crew for the flight's 8-character code, or open the shared link, to see the same turbulence forecast on their own phone — no account or sign-up required. In flight, with no network, you can still view the route profile, turbulence levels by segment, turbulence windows, time remaining, and descent points.
Features:
• Turbulence timeline: forecast turbulence levels and expected times by flight phase
• Window alerts: reminders 3 minutes before and at the start of each turbulence window, even on the lock screen or in the background
• Voice alerts: optional spoken reminders such as "entering moderate turbulence" when the alert fires
• Local notifications: generated on device, no push service required, and mirrored to Apple Watch
• Watch view: flight number, route, next turbulence window, and alert status sync to Apple Watch for a glance
• Passenger access: ask the cabin crew for the 8-character flight code or open the shared link; no account required
• Departure time updates: crews can update the departure time at any time; progress and reminders follow automatically; offline changes apply locally and sync when back online
• Fully offline: data is cached on device after first open
• Privacy first: no account, no ads, no third-party analytics, no personal data collected
Note: collaborative data contains only flight number, departure and arrival airports, scheduled times, and turbulence forecasts. It does not include crew names or passenger information. Turbulence forecasts are inherently uncertain; all information is for cabin reference only and is not an operational decision-making tool. Always follow flight crew instructions, company manuals, and dispatch release.
Tap “View demo (sample data)” to explore the interface; real flight data requires the collaboration link or 8-character code shared by the cabin crew.
Received a turbulence summary card image? Share it to Fei Chang Wen and the app reads the 8-character cabin code at the bottom to open the matching flight. Recognition runs on device; the image is never uploaded.
