Too difficult to pair items to new WiFi. Why do they have make it 10 steps and then it doesn’t even work right?

If there is a power outage and you have their WiFi bulbs installed they will flash on and off until you reconnect them to your internet. So if you leave on a vacation and you have these lights set to a schedule and the power gets disconnected every light connected will blink non stop day and night letting everyone walking by your house know you’re not home. Great design fellas!!!

Bad company
Have to sign up for an account to function properly. Needs your wifi password for some reason but it connects via bluetooth. They also want your location which is supposed to find light bulbs easily. You can manually add without doing this. I don’t want to give all the info they require to just change the color of a light bulb. Gimme the remote like other brands.

Ads pop up when the app is opened
I have purchased many Feit smart products over the years and my experience has been positive. There are occasional glitches where a device needs to be reset but I consider it an annoyance as I know the steps to take to resolve.
I recently opened the app to turn a light on and was stunned by an intrusive ad covering my device list. Needless to say I was annoyed the first time, this time I am shopping for replacement products. I paid for the products which require me to use the app, this feels creepy and wrong.

Ads now??
I’ve had FEIT bulbs for years. The app is a little hit or miss in terms of functionality, but it is fine overall. I will not be buying any new FEIT products unless the ads are removed, though. Adding them was a terrible decision.

Fix The Icon Arrangement Order
I love Feit and all but they can use some refreshing features on their official iOS application. I find it really hard to rearrange the icons in sequence where I want them to be. Everytime I try to do this by pressing on the icons it will wiggle indicating that I am able to love around the icons but the check mark confuses me whether it’s checked or unchecked the icon I try to move around to place it where I want it to be never stays in the place I want it to stay instead it never fails to place it in areas where I never want it to place. Why not create a grid that you can easily drag up and down and do what it should do placing it according to preference. It’s one of the most annoying feature of this app. Plus the power icon should be larger you almost have to hit it in the right spot just to do what you want which is turn on or off a light.

Great my Glitchy
Overall, it’s wonderful and works good! Definitely worth getting. But the glitches are very annoying. It can sometimes be very delayed in turning off, I’ll click it and it won’t turn off unless I restart the app a few times, and sometimes it’ll say a light is offline even though it’s on.

Don’t buy this device, not worth dealing with the issues.
ADS AND TERRIBLE PRODUCTS
I BOUGHT THEIR SECURITY CAMERA AND NOW THEY ARE FORCING ME TO WATCH ADS. THEY ARE JUST DOING TOO MUCH. I HAVE TO WATCH A WHOLE AD JUST FOR ME TO LOOK AT MY SECURITY CAMERA. AND THEN AFTER I WATCH THE AD IT STARTS LAGGING AND I CANT EVEN SEE AND IT GOES BLACK. NEVER BUYING ANY PRODUCT FROM THEM AGAIN.

Hey ever wanted more ads when you didn’t have any before?! Well now you’re in luck because this app that used to be ad free now comes with ads! They’ve even made it so you can’t turn them off without turning off your moment notifications! Oh how I love more ads in my life!

And not just a little ad visible in the corner but you can still use the app, full screen ads that you have to sit and wait through. Scummy and guess what, they have the opposite effect and make me want to never buy your products again
So frustrating
STOP running the forced ad that is taking over the entire screen! I invested to much money and time setting up 8 bulbs, 3 plugs, 3 cameras & a light strip to have to deal with this. I WANT A REFUND!!!

•Setting up rooms or groups is very confusing.
•Many of the settings are very confusing.
•Over all the app needs a better design, clear language & to be more user friendly.

Just terrible, avoid
When a bulb disconnects, good luck getting it to reconnect. If you persist long enough then you might succeed, but it is extremely inconsistent and usually fails.
Serving us ads before we can turn our lights off?
This recent development of putty ads the screen when opening the app is completely tasteless and totally unacceptable. We’ve purchased your product already, you are absolutely not allowed to advertise to us while we are using it. Please have some class.

Ads to control my lightbulbs?!
I’ve not had many issues with the bulbs… they occasionally unpair but usually get back to work pretty easily. HOWEVER, I am extremely irritated to have to deal with a timed ad EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP. When an app is a tool, delay in using that tool is annoying. Please get rid of this. If you must advertise, do it with a colorful banner ad in the app. Don’t waste my time and make me mad I’m even using your app.
