The Fender Pro Control is definitely a GAME CHANGER!
For has been so useful, as an on-stage musician on which there’s a lot of last minute repertoire changes or curveballs, I know that just dialing in effects , global bpm’s or other settings, I don’t have to kneel down to dial in anything anymore. Just seamlessly adjusting settings and sound with ease.

Will not connect. App just crashes.
I’ve tried it all. I cannot get it to work. Application crashes after opening. Every time. I have updated the firmware on the TMP and my iPhone. It just does not work.
Frustrating
It’s totally insane that the firmware on the unit has to be updated with every app update… very poorly thought out and a giant pain to rip the unit out of the studio and get it connected to a PC load a complicated website update process… Insane…
Works great but a caution
The app works great, but the tone master pro device, and the application of both the updated in Lockstep otherwise they will not connect. The same is true with the Mac version so those who are wondering why they can no longer connect. Make sure to update the app and to update the tone master pro firm where at the same time.

Bluetooth doesn’t connect
It must be the new update because it simply just doesn’t want to connect unfortunately
Bluetooth is broken and app crashes
I spent an hour figuring out how to hook up the damn bluetooth and when i finally did and hit connect on my device it immediately crashed
Crashes with the 1.7 update
This app worked fine until I put the new firmware on and now it crashes every time I launch it. I’ve tried uninstalling, reinstalling etc and I’ve spent an hour with AI trying to resolve it but they just straight up have to fix the app.

Newest update just causes the app to crash once it connects with the Tone Master.
Killed my unit
After updating can’t connect to unit on IPad Pro, extremely frustrating… Avoid updates at all costs…
App works well
The app was killed by a firmware update some number of months ago. Finally updated my tmp and the app works great with no problems.
Tonemaster Pro is a winner
I have had many of these types of interfaces from units that modelled themselves after a popular workstations plug-ins to esoteric very expensive amp modelers. But none of them combine the ease of use, flexibility, and just plain good sound, and programming right out of the box as the Fender Tonemaster Pro. Being able to program all of your sounds on the basis of what you play in a live set at a gig shows this was designed for the working musician. Plain and simple it’s a winner. I need not look any further for any other option. Bryon

Great app… needs an “offline” mode
The app works well, easy connect via bluetooth (or USB cable for the Mac version. But it needs an “offline” mode to allow searching for user presets when your Tonemaster Pro is not available: There are hundreds of user presets in lots of categories, and the ability to browse and then download later would be very convenient. Happy to “log in” to do this, and be able to mark presets for later.

Garbage App
This app is garbage. I can’t get it to even connect to my Tone Master Pro unit
Doesn’t connect anymore
Worked for a while up until one of the last updates. Now I can’t connect my phone anymore. Would be such a useful tool, too. I’ve tried everything to fix it with no luck. No real help from customer support either. I love fender but would be great if I could use this app again. So convenient for building presets when it actually works.

Bluetooth not connecting
v1.5.1, iOS 18.1: Bluetooth not connecting. “Please enable Bluetooth” error message despite BT having been enabled. Frustrating and time-consuming user experience. Equally discouraging that this is not the first review to mention this issue, and the most recent update was over 1 month ago.
I’m yet to get the app to work
Been trying for hours. No such luck to getting this app to work. Even the computer is struggling to connect. It’s a brand new device too 🥲
Fantastic Product and App
The Tone Master Pro is a great amp and effects modeller - I use it all the time. What makes it extra special is the tone control app. Right from v1 its been really easy to use and full of useful features.
