About

FetchMark is a powerful and elegant viewer for Markdown files hosted on the web. Designed specifically for developers and technical writers, it allows you to sync and browse your online repositories (like GitHub Pages) while maintaining your full directory structure. Key Features: - Web Sync: Register your GitHub Pages or any web URL to instantly access your Markdown content. - Hierarchical Browsing: Navigate through your documentation using the folder structure defined in your repository. - Math (LaTeX): Formulas are rendered with KaTeX, including inline math, display math and environments such as \begin{align}. - Syntax Highlighting: Fenced code blocks are coloured for readability, in light and dark mode. - Offline Reading: Every file you open is kept on your device, so your notes stay readable with no connection. You are always told when you are looking at a saved copy. - Search: Find files by name across the folder you are in and everything below it. - Table of Contents: Long documents get a list of their headings at the top, with one tap to jump. - Beautiful Rendering: Experience a clean, GitHub-inspired default style for text, code blocks, and tables. - Custom CSS Support: Take full control of the layout. Apply global styles app-wide, or place a style.css in your folders for local overrides. - Automation Friendly: Use our provided Python scripts and GitHub Actions templates to keep your file index in perfect sync. Turn your web-hosted notes and READMEs into a beautiful, navigable document gallery with FetchMark.

Math, code highlighting, offline reading, and search. - Math (LaTeX): formulas are rendered with KaTeX. Inline $...$, display $$...$$, \(...\), \[...\], and environments such as \begin{align} are all supported. - Syntax highlighting: fenced code blocks are coloured, in both light and dark mode. - Offline reading: every file you open is kept on your device and shown when it cannot be fetched. A badge appears when you are reading a saved copy, and tapping it explains what that means. - Search: find Markdown files by name across the folder you are in and everything below it. - Table of contents: built from your headings and placed at the top of a file. Switch it on in Settings. Math and highlighting now work with no connection at all: the app carries its rendering engine with it instead of loading it from the web. Fixes - Relative links such as ../notes/guide.md now resolve correctly. - Links to a heading (#section, or guide.md#section) jump to that heading instead of opening Safari. - Documents no longer break when a paragraph begins with inline code.
