Database update disappeared. No updates tor years. All indications abandoned
Very poor service
The app was ok. You can get the same in a free app. I had a couple of questions in setting things up….emailed them…and never got a reply. Very poor. The list of cameras is old, too.
Great UI, easy to explore settings
This app makes finding DoF exceedingly easy. Great find and will definitely recommend to friends.
Simple precision
This is a very thoughtfully laid out app. Adjust the three values -focal length, distance, and aperture, and at a glance know how much depth of field you have to work with. Ergonomically correct on my iPad, my phone, and even my Apple Watch. Great job! Thank you! This will get used…

Great app and support!
Super easy to use, intuitive, and feature packed! Asked about adding my LUMIX G7 into the database, and the next day it was there, and a nice email from their support stating so.

Суперское приложение стало, когда вышла версия для apple watch. Телефон обычно неудобно каждый раз доставать, а часы всегда под рукой.
Пожелание к разработчикам: добавьте, пожалуйста, чтобы можно было заводить свои линзы. Хотя бы просто указывать свои линзы и минимальной, максимальное фокусное расстояние и диафрагмы

A useful interface
This app has a useful interface, however I think it could be improved by displaying the results from all three precision modes at once, therefore giving a better indication of the depth of field curve.
Great App
I tested the depth of field calculations in the field and the pixel perfect hyperfocal distance allows you to zoom-in to 100% and everything from the foreground to infinity is in sharp focus.

I choose metric measurements on the settings menu and you still give it to me in ft / inches? If I could get my money back I would, this app is appalling and I paid £2 for it.

UPDATE -
Following my download and review above, my query was responded to extremely quickly. I am use to developers really ignoring the problems but this developer accepted that this was an issue and promised that there will be update shortly to remove the problem. Sure enough, this was the case and this app is now working 100%. Very helpful for finding the ‘hyper focal’ distances of my lenses.
Another app worth downloading is ‘Helios’ by the same developer. Not only does it let you know what time sunrise / sunset is on any date or location, it also has an ‘augmented reality’ type camera mode that allows you to see the exact direction of where the current days sunrise / sunset will be.
Good developer, fluid user interfaces and also very user friendly. Highly recommended.
