What's New in FFF

1.1.0

August 23, 2026

The live map is open. Anyone who switches themselves on can now see everyone else who did — that used to be behind PRO, and it was the wrong thing to sell. Being on the map is a switch now, not a fifteen-minute check-in. On until you turn it off, and off the second you do. You can finally tell your ground from somebody else's at a glance: yours is filled in, theirs is an outline in their own colour, with their face or name on it up close. Tap anyone's hexes to open them. Two things I got wrong, both fixed: a drive could record nothing at all, and finishing one while you were still moving could crash the app and lose it. If that happened to you, I'm sorry. That one was mine.

FAQ

How does FFF work?

FFF is a territory game where you claim hexagonal areas on a real-world map by moving through them. Other players can then steal your claimed hexes, and you can steal theirs back. The game encourages exploration and strategic movement to maintain your territory.

What is FFF Pro?

FFF Pro is an optional subscription that offers enhanced features for players who want more detailed long-term history and customization options for their in-game maps and share cards. It does not provide any in-game advantages for claiming territory.

How long does claimed territory last in FFF?

Claimed hexagons in FFF last for seven days. Passing through your own claimed hexes can extend this duration up to three times. If territory is abandoned, it can be reclaimed by 'The Rust', an in-game mechanic representing decay.

Does FFF have ads?

No, FFF does not have advertisements. The core gameplay, including recording, claiming, and stealing, is completely free and without daily caps or limitations. Free players are considered essential to the game's experience.

What devices does FFF support?

Currently, FFF is supported on iPhones. The app utilizes GPS for its core functionality, requiring location services to be active while playing.

How often is FFF updated?

FFF was last updated on August 23, 2026, with version 1.1.0. The release date for the application was August 20, 2026, indicating recent development and ongoing support.

What is the age rating for FFF?

FFF has an age rating of 17+. This is likely due to the competitive nature of the game and potential for user interaction, as well as the real-world movement required to play.

Can I play FFF offline?

FFF requires an active GPS signal and likely an internet connection to function, as it relies on real-world map data and player interactions. Offline play is not supported for its core territory claiming mechanics.
