I’ve just joined and I find this app so easy to use, it’s excellent.

Bookings don’t work
Terrible user interface
at the counter in eirias the rude young lad told me to use the app rather than give me two mins to set up membership what an obnoxious little brat so I’m trying to use the app to set up membership and every time I select a drop down it disappears. When I finally got through the app decided to change language to Welsh. Was this app designed by a ten year old, using guided coding YouTube videos?
the cost of membership is too high with that premium cost I’d expect an app to work faultlessly. I’m using iPhone 13 updated to latest iOS, I’m not a technophobe either this just wound me up.

Unable to login
Have been trying for three days to login but keep getting “service unreachable”.
Difficult to search
App looks great and hasn’t lost any functionality over the web page, but I’m finding it really hard to search all classes across all venues, and difficult to switch between leisure centres to book swimming in different locations since all are close by to me. When booking swimming it essentially reverts to the same functionality and look as the web page, and it would be nice to be able to pay using Apple Pay or PayPal. Hopefully these elements could be added or improved in the future.

Appalling
Got to be the clunkiest, most unhelpful and frustrating app ever to support a public service. No navigational logic and no ability to view a full weekly timetable of all events within one centre or part thereof. And if there is, I can’t find it - which confirms how unhelpful this is. You have to work pretty hard to develop an app that is so bad. The only easy thing is the ability to rebook the same activity the following week and (if you have already set up a payment arrangement with the Council) pay for it.

Language barrier
Unfortunately most of the magi age is in Welsh and I’m unable to read it , despite there being options to change it on some of the tabs , on the tabs it’s in Welsh so unsure why they mean ?

Pretty to look at but difficult to navigate and book. It relies on using browser support to book most things so you may as well carry on using a browser rather than downloading this. - ringing reception would be easier again.
The “linked members” functionality is a pain, it doesn’t allow for you to include them in group activities, you have to do individual bookings and swap profiles in between each one - far from ideal, not efficient and not user friendly.
It’s a typical council made application - take that as you will. The 5 star reviews are either the developers or FFIT staff being encouraged to promote the app.

Not good, join and pay and the app is not giving me any information

Not very user friendly
Not very user friendly, very fiddly to use. Would be quicker just to phone the leisure centre and book. But it works, gets the job done. Think that people with limited digital skills and experience would struggle to use.

Enjoying the app and find it very easy to use and navigate, which isn’t like me 🙈.
Very Poor
I can check out a description of a class but when I try too book one I get the following message ~ Currently there are no sessions listed by your facility. Consequently I’ve been unable to book any classes.
The whole business of having to book for everything is a pain these days. It discourages me from training. It was far better before the digital age when you could turn up pay your monies, sorted!

Fit for purpose
This app makes booking classes a lot easier than on the website. It's quick, efficient and delivers a great service.

A great app, very quick and smooth to use. Well layer out and so easy to book and cancel sessions. Much better than using the web page
