Won’t update my favorites

I like the app. Being able to read AO3 stories on my phone is great. But, it won’t ever sync. I can log in, but then it tells me to check my internet connection (full bars). It never lets me see favorited updated fics.

Great app but I noticed a flaw

I noticed that the app has a flaw in that as a result of me having over a thousand bookmarks and many marked for later I can’t see them all. There are no like pages function for those tabs. Also, for future features it would be great if the marked for later and bookmark tabs had sorting and search functions. Overall this is a great app I just wish it didn’t have this flaw and had the functions I listed. This the best ao3 reader on iOS so I hope it continues to improve.

First of all, thanks a lot for your feedback, its really very important for me. I am working on the app alone and sometimes I can overlook or miss some things, so any testing or other help is always greatly appreciated! I will defienetely add the things you mentioned, not all at once, but please keep updating the app :)

Crashes

Looks like this would be the perfect little app, but I can’t find anyway to connect my account to the app. Everytime I try to bookmark the app crashes. Everytime I try to see the rest of the books in the series, the app crashes. So disappointed

It’s Blank

So I love the app and I’ve been using it for a while now wanted to write a review to tell people that if they see the Stories showing up as blank pages get a vpn worked for me and I tested it I’m in Germany and when I was in the states for vacation I didn’t need the vpn but just to be safe of the vpn is on it works once again this worked for me your fix might me different

hi! it took me some time but this thing with blank pages is fixed and you can safely use the app with no vpn!

Awesome APP though some features don't work

It used to be excellent and my go-to app, however it still has hiccups ever since AO3 updated their server i'm guessing.

Sometimes it shows a blank page when downloading a work. And ever since the last update to the app, I've been unable to log in using my credentials. It gives me a "check your internet connection error."

Also FYI for those who say the work is stolen or whatever, you don't know what you are talking about. The app is basically a mirror of ao3. 😑 Your fics weren't stolen

Stolen Stories

These developers are getting paid for stealing stories, and republishing them without author permission. The developers didn’t ask these authors if the developers could financially benefit- and the authors are NOT benefitting from this.

You didn’t get permission from Ao3 and you didn’t get the publishing right to my work.

So yeah- it’s a good thing you ran out of money- why should you be getting money for my work??

Hi, the app is a wrapper for ao3, all your views and kudos go directly to the authors on ao3, the work is not re-published anywhere or stolen. Its the same as using custom browser. I am not getting your money as the app is ad-free and doesnt have any purchases inside, but if you want you can always support me, I just dont know why you are angry with me.

It’s amazing!! Til ao3 stopped it

I used this app to read ao3 aurthers books off line for a while and I loved it! Yeah sometimes I didn’t find the fox I was looking for so I had to cut the title down till it showed but it was still awesome!! Sadly I can’t read the stories from ao3 anymore because they stoped it for some reason.

Best AO3 Reader

This is probably the best ao3 reader app for IOS. Thanks for sharing it with us again. I hope you add more themes in the future though, but so far it's great

Almost Perfect

The one thing that could get me to change to a 5 star review is making it so you can organize bookmarks by date updated. Unless there currently is and I’m just blind and incompetent.

Good reader

I enjoy using this app! I’d love to do a way to have the speech read to you though even when the screen is off.

Great app!

Really great app! One thing though is that it says a fic has updated but then the notification disappears and it won't show which fic has updated. Same on the downloads, at the top is says "latest updates" but the updates won't show. Still, lovely app! So useful!
