Fictional Gacha is a joke app where all you do is pull the gacha of Starseer Chronicle, a mobile game that does not exist. Its story, world, character profiles, illustrations, and even sound effects were all made up by AI.
There is no main story. Everything in it is fictional and was created just for this app.
NOTHING TO BUY
The Starstones you pull with only come from waiting, login bonuses, Daily Missions, watching ads, and finishing Side Stories and Event Story chapters. You can’t buy Starstones with money. There is pity (a guaranteed SSR within 100 summons), and every 10-pull guarantees at least one SR or higher.
80 CHARACTERS
56 standard characters (10 SSR, 14 SR, 16 R, 16 N) and 24 limited ones. From a priestess, a Sword Saint, and a dragon princess all the way down to villagers, a scarecrow, an old well, and a campfire.
Every character you pull joins your Collection, where you can read about their personality, how they talk, and their backstory. Each duplicate raises their Limit Break and makes the card frame fancier. The 5th copy maxes them out.
176 SIDE STORY EPISODES
Read short conversations between the characters you own. Each duplicate unlocks the next episode, and final episodes come with scene art.
LIMITED-TIME EVENTS
Every October brings the Harvest Night Festival, and every November the Night of Falling Stars. Limited characters show up in seasonal outfits, and the medals you earn by summoning can be traded for them at the Exchange. The Night of Falling Stars also has a 6-chapter Event Story that opens as you collect Star Shards.
Once an event is over, a Rerun Ticket reopens it for 3 days, just for you. You get Rerun Tickets every 7th day you log in and at Yone’s Shop, which is always open.
WORLD AND SYNOPSIS
Eight regions, a world map, and a synopsis in seven chapters. The main story exists only as a synopsis. It will never actually start.
RECORDS
For every character, the app records how many summons and Starstones it took to pull them. It also shows what that would have cost in real money (you never actually pay a cent). You can share your summon results as an image.
■ Icon and Title Screen
Make an SSR or SR you own, or the scene art from the final episode of their Side Story once read, your app icon. Decorate the title screen with any character you own, or with scene art you’ve unlocked by reading.
This app is just the gacha of a mobile game, cut out and served on its own. There is no deeper meaning.
