PHOTOS • Photos were being saved at roughly thumbnail size. They are now full resolution and visible in the list, in the detail view, and offline. • Observation photos were stored where the operating system deletes them, so a photo could disappear while the observation that referenced it survived. They are now kept in durable storage, and photos still in the old location are recovered on the next launch. • A photo that uploaded successfully used to disappear from the screen. Photos are now kept on the device, and any already lost this way are fetched back the first time you open them with a connection. • Task photos can now be opened after restarting the app with no signal. • You can mark up a photo with circles, arrows and freehand strokes to point at what you found. • Fixed a sideways camera preview on Android. SYNC AND UNSENT WORK • Work that failed to send was invisible and could not be recovered: it stopped retrying and disappeared from every count. There is now a notice that explains each item, a retry that works, and a way to discard what genuinely cannot be sent. • A request that never reached the server was being treated as a permanent failure instead of a temporary one, so it never retried. • Clock in, clock out, piece-rate counts, observations and phytosanitary records are now saved and queued in a single step. Previously an interruption between the two left a record on the phone that would never send. PHYTOSANITARY CENSUS • The census could not be sent at all. Every graded plant was rejected by the server, so no census reached the web console and no SIVEA export was possible. Plants already graded on your device are repaired and sent. • The census map opened with no plants. Sampling points are now laid out from the lot boundary, following the SENASICA minimum for the lot size. • Capture and grading are one form instead of two screens, with Save and next plant and Save and finish, so a partly walked lot can be picked up later. • Graded plants now show as done and progress is visible, so you can see where you left off. TASKS AND SETUP • The practice task kept reappearing for workers who had already completed it, and on a shared phone the second worker inherited the first one's completion. • A new worker could be placed in the wrong crew instead of the one the manager chose. • Starting a task can now include an optional protective equipment photo, taken with the front camera. • Worker names no longer fall back to showing an email address. FIELDS AND MAPS • Lot boundaries had never downloaded to any device, so every observation was recorded with no location and the app reported it as outside known locations. Boundaries now download and locations resolve. • Zoom, reset view and a face north control on every map. Two of the three maps had no controls at all. LOOK AND LANGUAGE • New app icon. • The phytosanitary flow, including the severity scale and organism names, now follows your phone's language in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. It was Spanish only. • Ten reported problems fixed, including observation types not appearing for some accounts, a duplicated title bar, blank previews, and a photo editor that was too small to use.
