About

Fieldmark from Electronic Field Notebooks allows you to create notebooks for structured data collection in the field while your team is offline. Developed to support a wide range of field-based disciplines, Fieldmark forms can be customised for your project to streamline data collection in the field. Collect data where there is no mobile or network connectivity and seamlessly upload data when you return to base. Fieldmark supports teams of data collectors using the same notebook on a project. Forms can include photographs, GPS locations (including from attached Bluetooth devices), free text and structured input fields, relations between multiple entries and more. Forms are fully customisable via our online web portal. After your field data collection exercise, data can be exported from our servers for import into your analysis tools or data repository. Export as CSV/Zip files or use our API to build an integration with your toolset.

What's New in Fieldmark

1.6.2

July 13, 2026

Main changes have centred on stronger form and survey design, better mobile/offline fieldwork, and broader admin controls: the platform added new field types such as audio recording, percentage sliders, and computed values; expanded the designer with search, duplication, conditional editing, templating, and validation improvements; improved mapping and field capture with overview map filters, photo zoom, location UI refinements, directional sync modes, recommended offline map downloads, and geopackage export; and extended management features with public/private templates, richer role descriptions and permissions, storage stats, admin impersonation, and a larger overhaul of deletion/archiving lifecycles.
