It might still be good, if you could place towers at the bottom of the map.
Field runners 1 still works perfectly, as the towers place on the tile your finger is touching (like it should be)
This game has the tower hover one space above your finger, which is cool in theory, being able to see it clearly and all. Unfortunately, since you cant drag your finger BELOW the bottom row, you literally cannot place towers down there whatsoever.

Great game but I cannot use my coins for boosters

I brought coins to buy towers and every time I try and buy a tower the nothing happens! I’ve tried everything to try and sort it but it still won’t register me trying to buy one! £12.99 wasted! Please can I have a refund on my purchase
Not for non home button phones
Use to love this game and remembered I hadn’t played in years. Imagine my surprise when playing on a 17pro and the swipe up for home causes some issues on placement and other stuff. So it’s basically unplayable now 😢

Broken on newer iPhone devices
You are unable to purchase the machine gun on iPhone 16 pro which makes the game essentially unwinnable. There’s also a UI bug at the bottom center of the screen on maps but that can be worked around. Inability to purchase towers is not workable especially with the machine gun. Would be a great game if they patched for newer devices

Do not spend your money in or on this game. I bought stars to get towers and it will not allow me to use any of my stars. Total waste of money.

I’m seeing the same issues that other reviewers have noted for a while. The game heats up my iPhone 16 Pro Max as if it’s pushing it to its limit and drains the battery like crazy. There’s also a problem using the in game currency. The coins you earn can’t be spent on better towers. The game still lets you purchase in game currency with real money, but you can’t use it. Unfortunate, as those issue prevent this older game from being fun and worth playing in 2026.

Paid app that then requires thousands of coins to unlock additions needed to progress, yet only gives out tens of coins without paying for more. Worse is I owned it years ago and wasn’t like that.

Всё стало плохо.
На новый айфонах постоянно сварится экран, приходится гид-доступ включать. Нижний ряд на некоторых картах имеет мертвые зоны, т.е. нельзя установить башню, она просто туда не двигается. Играть стало невозможно к сожалению.

I got this game when it first came out many years ago and it was fun — very well designed and implanted.
I went back to replay it and have discovered it is unplayable on modern phones:
- Playfield maps are frequently cutoff by the screen edges: they are not completely viewable.
- Not all in-game buttons work.

アイテムが選択できなくなった
ずっと楽しく遊んでて、新記録を目指すためだけに遊んでたのですが、今回のiPhoneのアップデート後、アイテムを選択できなくなり、アイテムを選択するとアイテムがいっぱいと表示されるし、そのままスタートしようとするとアイテム選択してないけどいいの？みたいな表示がされます。。
アイテムないならもう新記録更新は無理なので、もう終わり？？？更新してほしいー。あと10倍速みたいのあるとありがたい！
その前にアイテムのところをどうにかしてくれないと、もうなんともならん！
