Best Recorder App!
Fantastic app for quick, high-quality field recordings! I love being able to use the iPhone’s microphones for great stereo recordings wherever I am. Super easy to use, and I haven’t found anything comparable on the App Store. Highly recommended!

I’d had another iOS recording app that _had_ been perfect for the job. Then someone came along and slapped some AI notetaking nonsense over the top of it, imagining that their app was a replacement for Voice Memos.
That left me without a field recording app for some time.
I’m absolutely delighted that _you_ stepped up and delivered one. Your stuff has always been top-notch, you understand what a _musician_ wants out of a field recorder.
Now I don’t have to worry about this happening out from under me a second time! HA!

Can’t figure out how to edit the file names
You can edit all kinds of things with the app. Even a photo to remind yourself but you can’t edit the name of the .wav file? Am I missing something??

You can, just swipe left on a recording and click on the "pencil" icon.
Idea is great but there are issues…
After recording a 45 minutes recording, app simply stopped working (crashes practically on launch). A shame.

Not able to select the mics of the iPhones while earbuds are connected.
Not able to select the mics of the iPhones while earbuds are connected. That makes the app unusable for me unfortunately. Each time I want to record something I need to make sure no Bluetooth earbuds are connected. That leads to mistakes for me at least.

You can do that via Control Center with the latest iOS versions. There's a video in the PDF manual and in the product page on our website, search for "quick video" and you'll see how to do it.
Masterclass
Excellente application ! L’idée de pouvoir accompagner chaque enregistrement d’une photo et de la géolocalisation, c’est un + non négligeable. Le mode édition est plutôt complet. Il manque juste la possibilité d’enregistrer en 96 kHz et une petite traduction en français

Teilweise hängt das uinterface. (Lag bei bestimmten Aktionen). Auch bleibt die App beim Start manchmal schwarz. (iPhone 16 Pro). Der iCloud sync von neuen recordings erscheint erst am anderen device nachdem man die App geschlossen und wieder geöffnet hat. Das könnte man noch genauer untersuchen und verbessern. Ansonsten wirklich tolle software auf die ich seit 20 jahren gewartet habe.

This is EXCELLENT
Anybody who wants to record sound on their device should have this app. It’s laid out really well, offers a great deal of functionality, and is a perfect, important addition to any sound-recording app collection.
Great but…
I have a few Audio Things VST’s and saw this in an email. I already have a field recording app (Tape It) but thought I’d give this a go. In all honesty it’s great, and has more useful features features than my current app. But it’s missing one thing that the other has and I can’t live without. The ability to have a ‘lock screen widget’. Without that it’s not much use and won’t get used.

What I’ve Been Waiting For
iPhone has been a passable camera for a while, and now it’s a very useful audio recorder. Record, edit, notate, and tag your audio. Worth twice the price!
