Thank you to all of the Describers and the team behind the scenes. Whichever match I listened to, AD was absolutely top notch. There was lots of information on each player, colours of each team, which way they were playing etc. it was well done and I appreciate all of the hard work in preparing for every single match. Excellent descriptive commentary; no ability to pause
This descriptive commentary is outstanding and exactly what a non-visual person needs to enjoy all the action. Kudos to the announces. Unfortunately, the downside is there is no real pause feature. If you get interrupted and need to pause the audio, you will miss the action, as when it resumes it will resume live. And if you’re listening along with someone who is watching the visual broadcast, you cannot sync your audio with their video. The audio is always going to be about a minute or so ahead of their “live” video. So you can’t share the descriptive audio with the whole room. And if you are listening on your headphones with a group that is watching, you can’t get excited if someone scores because their “live” video hasn’t caught up yet and you will be spoiling it for them. Pause definitely needs to be included.
