App is blank and doesn’t play audio. Deleted and downloaded again and nothing. Unable to finish my reading plan

I turned off my VPN during initialization and THEN it loaded but had no response while VPN was on.

I recently purchased the NLT Study Bible which I love. Not knowing there was this app and the learning potential got me stoked. Only to find out the app crashes if a VPN is connected. Kevin from the Filament Bible App helped me solve this. Thanks Kevin!👍🏽🙏
Camera not displaying
So I been trying to activate the app but when it takes me to the “camera” to scan the QR CODE on the front page. No camera image displays. I’ve refreshed my phone, made space on my phone( deleted data for more space) and still the camera doesn’t work. Even tried with my iPad and nothing 😑😑

Stuck on 145
This app has been great, but I decided to do the chronological Bible in a year and its stuck on day 145. Looks completed but opens everyday on 145 and I have to manually find the correct date, so when I get to final reading, I will be complete except day 145.
Other readings have completed just fine and a draw back is can’t use this app as a digital Bible, when you leave without your physical Bible.

I’ve had the NLT Bible for like a year and had the filament app but kinda forgot I had the app. Finally started using it and oh my goodness I was missing out, it’s so helpful for deep study as a newer believer.
Doesn't work with new phone.
I upgraded my phone to the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the app no longer works. I have deleted, downloaded and initially it wouldn't load my account. I then created a new account and get nothing but a black screen.
Love this
Packed with insight info and commentary. I love the NLT translation and the whole set up of this app and how deep I can go with it. I would love going even further into Hebrew and hermeneutics - other than that is is wonderful.
An awesome way to listen/read to the word of god

What a great addition to my Bible! So easy to use and a powerful tool! This app is well organized, and laid out. It is simple and easy to navigate. I also love that they partnered with the BibleProject for some of their videos and illustrations. Great job to the developers. Thank you for making my day!

Great app!
This is a great app to use when I want to use my two Bibles that are Filament enabled. It’s really cool.
Disappointed
Update: upon reading some reviews, I see that the app doesn’t work with a VPN on. This needs to be fixed. May still delete due to this.
The app was slow, but worked, during setup. Immediately after, all I get is a white screen. I’m giving it a bit but it’s already on the way to the trash can.

I think this is such an amazing concept and I feel it can help me grasp the concept of what the bible is talking about and I love the bible itself so 🫶

App appears to go to a blank black page with no option to backtrap out of it or to move forward!!!
