About
FileJax moves files directly from one device to another over your own Wi-Fi network. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored on someone else's computer, and you never create an account.
HOW IT WORKS
Open FileJax on both devices. They find each other on the local network. Pick the receiving device, choose what to send, and the files go straight across. The internet can be off the whole time.
WHAT YOU CAN SEND
• Files of any size, in any format
• Whole folders, with the directory structure rebuilt on the receiving device
• Photos and videos straight from your phone's own library, newest first
MADE FOR REAL TRANSFERS
• Resume after an interruption — a dropped connection continues from the partial copies already on the receiver instead of starting over
• No size limit and no quota, because the ceiling is your network rather than a plan
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Devices pair with a certificate that the receiver creates on itself and changes only when you ask
• The sender pins that certificate, so your files reach the device you chose and nowhere else
• No account, no sign-in, no analytics profile, no advertising identifier
• No copy is left on a server, because there is no server
WORKS ACROSS YOUR OWN DEVICES
FileJax runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows and Linux, and they all talk to each other. Computers with no camera and no Bluetooth are still reachable — a device that is already in the list can introduce two of the others.
GOOD TO KNOW
Both devices need to be on the same network. There is no fallback to the internet, which is exactly why your files never leave the room.
