Please update this app!!

Love this app. Need iOS 11 compatibility

Garbage

Can't edit photos taken of a negative with native iPhone camera app. Must use apps atrocious camera function. Slow. Super low resolution. Absolute garbage.

It works!

Not the best quality but it lets me see how my pictures came out before I officially pay to have them scanned. It's best if you use an iPad as a light box and an iPhone to take the pictures. So you need both an iPad and an iPhone to make this app work. I have no complaints.

Delivers!

This app is fantastic - I have boxes full of old family negatives - Black & White, Color, Large Format, Small Format, you name it - and Film Scanner is easy to use with a clean interface and it just works.

It does require two iDevices; one to act as the "light box" and the other to act as the "viewer". Enabling the light box sets one device up, unsurprisingly, with a neutral backlight where you can place the negative and with the other device set to Viewer mode, you can view the "positive" image in real time. No need to take a photo first or go through a conversion process. This makes it easy to quickly swap out negatives or line up multiples on an iPad screen and quickly find the photos you want. There is also the option to take a photo of the positive.

I am now energized to power through those boxes and find out what I really have.
