It’s a very simple app, but it costs a lot to scan negatives. Hated the interface and the way photos are edited after scanning. Will not use.
Inconsistent exposures
I have a very solid, locked down camera support and quality Kodak light box.
I can shoot the same negative seconds apart, one exposure comes out nice and smooth & sharp, my very next exposure will come out grainy and contrasty.

Free Trial Scam
After using the app for its free trial I was not expecting it to charge me 40 dollars after. Such a BIG SCAM I never had this issue with any other free trial apps. If I could completely disable the account so it would stop charging me I would.

Terrible scans with iPhone 17 and light pad
I bought the whole setup as an economical solution to scan black and white negatives. Just about every scan has a reflection of the iPhone lenses. The ones that don’t are more dark in nature versus lighter or landscape shots. I followed the tips suggested to reduce reflection to no avail; darkened room, adjusting the position of the phone etc. I asked for help via chat and the bot said it’s be a few hours until response. It’s been over 24 hours and still nothing. I’m very disappointed and cannot recommend if you’re wanting to use this to scan negatives. It may work with prints better.

I am stunned as to how well this works.

Nice idea but not worth it.
Regardless of where you focus, this ai will capture whatever portion of the negative it feels like using. Also, it says the images turn out bad because I’m not backlighting…even though my negatives are sitting on top of a lit light board. And it keeps telling me not to use color photos…as I’m taking images of negatives (it can’t tell my black and white negatives aren’t color photos). Last thing I’ll mention is that, like all AIs, this one starts hallucinating quickly. I gave this app a 100 image test. It was already failing after twenty. By 75, it wasn’t worth it to go on. Out of 100 captures, about 30 are worth keeping at all. I’m not even going to waste my time on the last 2.5 days of the free trial. Canceling now. Definitely not worth $40!

Disappointed in quality and accidentally tricked into purchasing two year contract because of popups
I had high hopes for this app, but unfortunately, it has been nothing but a disappointment. The scan quality is poor… And the system accidentally tricked me into purchasing a two year plan… Have no idea how to get my money back.
Horrible product, Literally got nothing done
I got it to process only 1 picture… out of several attempts. Maybe this was good once, but it does nothing except take up space on your phone. Don’t get the subscription. Don’t get this app. It’s just going to make you frustrated and give up preserving your memories. I hope the company doesn’t think they did a good job…

Unless I’m not seeing something you have to pay $40 per year to move the photos into my iPhone photos on my phone?

Cropping is a fatal flaw
There are many powerful features and it mostly works well but there is no way to turn off the automatic cropping and it is a disaster. I had to rescan some negatives 5 or 6 times before I got even close to the whole image. If they would just allow you turn this off, the app would be amazing. By as it is, I’m deleting it

No options and stuck
Be careful with this. The quality of the scan is not good for one and you can’t zoom in if your phone is fixed. Further, if you sign up for the monthly you don’t get a free trial to see if it works and they bill you for the month for a useless app
