Stopped being good
Transferring files to camera roll stopped working on iPhone XS Max , I have to upload it to a shared album and pray it will work and then 1 out of 10 times hope the shared cloud album will allow me to transfer back to my phone
Insanely powerful video shooting app for iOS for 10+ years
This is arguably the #1 best most powerful video shooting app for iOS the past 10 years. Others have come and gone but this one seems to remain king. If there’s anything better than this, it can’t be by much.
Subscriptin Differences?? Where’s app support?
I’ve avoided making this review but gosh, I am struggling to understand the differences in all these different subscription options! I tap “Apo Support” and there’s no existing page. Geez, can there please be ab explaination on “Creator” subscription & “Director” subscription? If no help, I’ll delete this app ASAP.

Filmic Pro isn’t what it used to be
Their tech support is non-existent. I put in a support ticket because their delog LUTs on their website leads to a broken link so you can’t even access them and those are needed to delog the files I captured. I tried on multiple browsers. 48 hours later and not a peep from their support team other than an AI bot that was useless. Do not buy this app. There are better options out there now like the BlackMagic Camera app.

Crashes all the time, invasive “review app” pop ups
Constantly crashing and I lose the whole video. iPhone 14 Pro, latest iOS, latest Filmic Pro. I can’t use it anymore because I can’t trust it not to crash half way through a great (or irreplaceable) take and lose it. Unfortunate because otherwise the app and remote functionality are great.
Plus every single time you use this app it asks you to rate it here. Every time! I’m in the middle of filming and have to dismiss a “rate our app!” Popup every time I use the app and I’ve already left a review. This part is just unbelievable and completely inexcusable, obnoxious and tone deaf.

Really?
I purchased Filmic pro a while back and quite enjoyed using it. I have a new project coming up as d I thought I would use that. Imagine my surprise when I go to open the App and I am greeted with two payment options. One was a so called loyalty subscription. To say I’m disgusted is an understatement.

Great, amazing, impressive, but…
It’s a great app, no question. The integration with Movi Robot is amazing. It ticks all boxes when it comes to pro features. It would have been a winner if it wasn’t for Blackmagic Camera App, which has everything Filmic Pro offers (except for MOVI Ronot) at no cost.

Awesome app to professional results on my IPhone
Doesn’t work without cell service
The new version doesn’t work when I’m out of cell coverage. The older versions did. I tried rebooting and my IPhone 12 Pro is up to date. Very frustrating.
