This app is a blessing.
I have been mercilessly plagued with political propaganda ever since inheriting my phone number from a relative. I tried blocking numbers, deleting messages, unsubscribing, but nothing made them stop.
In comes Filter.
After navigating its simple interface and creating my own list of words to filter out, my problem was gone. The messages still come, but they go to a filtered folder where I never need to see them.
I would 11/10 recommend this app if you have a similar problem!!!
Note: it will only filter messages containing words you have listed in the app. If your spam is too diverse for that to be possible, it may be better to consider a phone number change.

Works for the most part
Got because the same scam text message has been texting me everyday for the past two weeks. Unfortunately, it doesn’t always work. I have the word “Amazon” in my blacklist and a text message containing the word from a number that wasn’t in my contacts wasn’t filtered out.
There’s also an issue in which Filter keeps telling me that I have to activate the app when it’s already activated in my settings.
