A little confusing initially….
The first screen is an option. Make sure you scroll to the fimi 2 (look at pictures and see the buttons on the device) and connect to the wifi name and you will get into the app.
I’m not sure you really need the app. Useful to see the video on a bigger screen. But main thing is to update the firmware. I think that fixes some low light video issues.

It’s 1024x576 ..That’s why my footage look so grainy . Can we please get a App update. Maybe that’s why people think the Osmo pocket footage looks better. Thanks👍🏾

Won’t connect to a iPhone 12 max
Frustrating will not connect to my iPhone. Other reviews mention the same problem. Please fix it the camera is useless to me without the app.
Cannot connect to IOS 14.3 at all
It’s frustrating to connect this device to my iPhone. I am using iPhone 7plus, iOS 14.3. The update seems not working. I won’t add the stars unless you fix this problem guys.
Great app but still need some improvement
I use it for palm 2 and it took me awhile to realize that the first screen is an option. I believe most palm 2 users are unable to use it due to this issue. Also, I’m not able to change the password.

Can’t download photos and video

Problem
I have two iPhones, both 7 plus, both running the latest iOS. This app works perfectly on one, but not on the other one. The live feed is there but all options are greyed-out and it continued to say “Connect Now” at the bottom of the screen. (The app also works on my iPad).
I can’t find story mode
In the advertisement it says the device has story mode but I can’t find it anywhere. Also after updating to the latest version firmware I’m experiencing a bit of WiFi connection issues

App buttons grayed out - how to fix
I at first was not happy with this app, then I learned how to work with it. First thing, turn off your cell connection when you connect to your FIMI wifi. After connected and everything works (buttons not grayed out and working) you can turn your cell-data back on and everything will work. After that hiccup it turns out to be a great app. Great device FIMI!

Doesn’t work at Iphone8
All i can do is just seeing my phone monitor.. it’s connected, but i can’t control any function, but seeing my phone monitor. Please fix it for me.
Can't track object in the app
Could you add the tracking feature in the app? Ideally, is it possible to track any object rather than a face?
Updated to add 24fps for 4K video
Just a couple of days into using the app with the Fimi Palm and find the app makes the device so much easier to navigate than using the adequate small touch screen.
The app is without any sort of tutorial, or addition of a more thorough user’s manual of the Fimi Palm than what you get in the box. This could be an area for the app to shine, but that opportunity was missed. Maybe that will come with additional updates.
Bluetooth controls of any type are also still sadly
Missing from the app, but they are not yet available through the device either, so not a huge loss. Would be nice to be able to connect external mic or headphones via Bluetooth as the device was listed as having Bluetooth.
I like that the video is streamed to the app from the device and the lag is very minimal.
A nice addition for future updates would be to be able to change the name and password on the device.
I found the app very similar to DJI Osmo apps as they have very similar features, but clearly they took their own approaches to lay things out how the UI is navigated.
I gave three stars as I think there is still room for the app to have minor things added that would greatly improve the UI (user interface) and UE (user experience). Otherwise I would say this app is good and only adds to the value of the device rather than being a detractor.

Trouble
I am only able to see the live pictures but all other feature buttons are grayed out.
Lots of features
It’s March 31 2020 and I probably have an early batch of the FIMI Palm. Nevertheless I’ve connected without a hitch (password on WiFi is 123456789) to the camera, updated the firmware and this app allows me to control it more straightforwardly. Most of the camera settings, like ISO or gimbal modes or gimbal speed are upfront and accessible. And then of course you can use this app to get your pictures and video into say an iPad. The pics appear in Photos and Google photos without effort. I haven’t figured out how to stitch a set of panorama photos. Of course I’ll not usually be using the app to film very much, but for a first go my experience today has been excellent.
