They MASSIVELY made it easier from the switch and original. Level three and you already have 100 health as a fighter. Fights are made much easier, puzzles nerfed, and the effects are gone after a battle making heals and items essentially useless. This takes away from the game SO MUCH and makes me a little sad. You can play with nintendo switch, xbox, playstation and apple controllers which is a great plus.

It's alright
No issues with the game itself, but it hasn't aged very well. Very tedious. I think you'd have had to play it back in the day to appreciate it.

I love the adventurers
This game is is really fun I really like the adventurers like the structures, caves, and bosses. My favorite boss is the Lich a huge skeleton that has a purple cape. Also the potions and magic for my character shadow man, I’m truly giving this game a five stars for bosses, structures, potions, magic and the adventures.

No portrait mode
Only able to play in landscape, so probably wont ever play it. Oh well, seems neat otherwise.
No Sound
None whatsoever. On an iPhone 15 Pro with no headphones and the volume all the way up.
Great and not frustrating
Pleasant experience. Can turn off random battles, quick save, and choose an option to inc exp and Gil to up to x4. This makes all the old school annoyance of the game gone. It was still a little bit of a challenge and not boring. This is great and I finally was able to beat this after 40 years or so (where has all the time gone).

Минусы:много сильных врагов в море,не ясно где будет бой типа идёшь себе куда угодно и бац с трудом убивай врагов,как мне возрадить павшего воина можно только за 80 Гилов ещё должна быть магия чтобы возрадить.
Ну игра всё равно крутая рекомендую но будьте осторожны бой неизвестно где

Good game, critical flaw
This is a great game. It is a classic, it’s fun yet challenging, and something to play casually or seriously. But there’s just one thing. The lack of auto save. If I leave the game for three minutes after playing for an hour, I’m at my last save. And I don’t save if I’m just going onto a search engine for 5 minutes. I once went from level 16 to 7, because I shut off my device without saving. Please either add autosave or make it hold my progress. Great remake though, but just can’t enjoy it like this

Reminds me of when I was young
Played the game as a kid. Didn't beat it until this past week. Got all of the trophies, except the trophy you get for getting all of the trophies... I think that's a glitch that I hope corrects itself over time. Otherwise I'll eternally have 23/24 trophies on this game and look at that very frustrated.

I played the whole game in a couple weeks whenever I had some free time. It was a blast. Game was bug-free for me.

Amazing game!
I had never played the OG game before but this version I believe is the best one to play for 1st timers with all its additions. Said that I hope you guys bring the whole collection to Apple Arcade cause if the 1st one is good I can’t imagine the rest!
Lastly, it would be very but I mean very time saving and very helpful if you guys added auto sync to the cloud so that it doesn’t have to be done manually every time I want to move from my iPhone to my iPad and continue where I left off. All other Apple Arcade games do it so I hope there’s a way this game and the other final fantasy games become capable of automatically syncing to the cloud every time one saves progress please!! And thanks

So much fun
This is the first time I’ve played through a game like this on my phone and I’m hooked. If you are interested in JRPGs or retro games play this! Normally I hate touch controls, but these only took a few minutes to get used to.
Bugfix needed
I got a bug that I got my chime but inside mirage tower level 3 item is not triggering and I don’t have another savepoint - tried all but cannot play this game and don’t want to start again so only one star cause I stuck on that stage and cannot reset.
