Beta tester review
As an original beta / TestFlight tester, I’m proud to say I love this game. The test came out March 2023 and I tested June 27th and onward and I had LOADS of fun, just rediscovered this game 3 full years later and I am about to redownload after all these years. I can’t recommend this game enough for people who just want to pass time on a calm little mobile game. Happy to see you guys at top 100 on App Store in your category!

I enjoy playing this game
It’ll help you think about analogy towards managing things like if you manage things wrong you would fail and start over again or pay to continue, similarly to how life works, you can pause it and take a break and or think about what to optimize for in the village to protect it from decay from hunger, lighting, winter, “zombies”
You can move forward with the current way in which you managed something or destroy the thing you payed to build and pay with resources for building something better that optimizes better than what was previously constructed.

太难了
最长到55天就坚持不住了，人口增长的太慢，每天城墙一直在修，打猎，砍柴，种田，晚上还要打怪，武器没什么伤害，3天还要boss关卡。20个人是铁做的，全年无休，孩子都没时间生😂
Must play game
Absolutely one of the best games I’ve ever played. I played it for 6 hours non stop yesterday, I can’t get enough. And I spend a lot of time looking for good games on the App Store. It’s even more addictive than anything on the PS5 or PC.
Balancing issues
The core concept of this game is certainly fun, and I like the simplicity of it. I do personally think, though, that the game certainly punishes you a bit too much for mistakes. you have to be perfect with your resources between days 20-35 (what I call the start of mid-game) otherwise you will likely die of starvation (this is around when your outpost gets to the size where hunting for deer is unreliable and you must rapidly switch to agriculture to survive). I also think that difficulty ramps up a bit too quickly with the zombies. I’m not saying to overhaul the entire blood moon system, but maybe make the individual zombie behavior a little less aggressive. Personally I think that making either the resource costs of base levels 4 and 5 slightly lower and/or making the lumberjacks and maybe the miners give a bit more of their respective resources would help the transition between early to mid game feel a bit less desperate as so many different demands clash against each other.

Hard but fun
I had to restart multiple times before getting the hang of the game. When I did get used to it, I survived a long time. I’m currently on day 206 as of writing this review. Those who said it scales too hard (on the free app) hasn’t played and learned about the game enough. To put it bluntly, as of this post, id say they had “skill issues” as the current game I’m playing has lasted 4 to 5 hours. Yes it was hard, but idk if i would say if the game is impossible yet. My goal is to get to day 300 or 500. If I manage to get there I’d set my goal to 1000. The most important thing in the early game is wood, and then rush stone and then get the farms. Thats how I survived in this game so far. My storage for my farms are 14250 and population of 325 out of 350. Also, be careful on population control, especially on early game, dont populate too fast until you get the farms. Also learn about the season, know when to hunt less to conserve the deer population until needed (like during winter). You get less farm food during winter so you should hunt more during it. As long as the game doesn’t crash or glitch, it’s a 5/5 star for me.

Fun but sadly manipulative
The game is great and I have a lot of fun playing it but by the time you get to the third or fourth blood moon it becomes unplayable in the designed difficulty unless you choose to fully purchase the game
Bait & Switch
This would be a fun game, but the difficulty growth with each blood moon is clearly designed to make you buy the game. Ironically, I probably would have bought the game - but I don’t like being manipulated.
I had a nice base going, easily destroying the zombies even on a blood moon and fully repairing my wall afterwards, with lots of buffer in my wall health. Then, suddenly, the difficulty spiked, and my wall was completely destroyed in seconds, without warning.
No, I’m not going to pay you $0.99 to resume playing from this point, and no, I’m not paying $4.99 for the full game so I can change the difficulty. I can’t trust that the full game has any better difficulty scaling than this did. Consumers don’t like being tricked. You’d have a good game here, and it would sell if you were just patient.

Good with Bugs slight but important
There is a bug with saving on mobile
Needs An Endless/Zen Mode
I really like the game but it’s SO STRESSFUL because it takes a long time to invest in a town and one bad five minutes to wipe it out. It needs an endless mode
Why doesn’t it pause
This game’s pretty fun, gets repetitive though. My problem with the game is that when you open any menu it doesn’t pause the game, I opened the job menu and I didn’t notice it was night and died, lost a good 1 hour of work.
Impossible to progress
I hoped this game would be fun but instead its stressful each time i even play it. The blood moons are way to much the zombies keep getting more harder to kill and it keeps costing me every single resource i have. The farthest i can even go is 35 days i cannot go any farther with how impossible it is to make stronger walls or defenses. This game is so whack and ridiculous if zombies gotta be near impossible to kill since the knife units only kill them one at a time instead of grouping up to take them down.

You see I loved the game but there is 1 thing I must ask IS THE FREE VERSION THE definitive edition but with adds

I’ve been playing this off and on for a while and I used to like it because it looked simplistic not anymore I wish it had stayed the way it used to be I would play a lot more if the hud graphics hadn’t been changed

It’s decent
It’s a fun idea with great things to do, but there’s not much to do and every time you get anywhere you get killed and there’s no way to save yourself. It’s annoying getting to where you were and finally being able to get somewhere new and then getting destroyed by the blood moon or whatever it is, if there was a second chance besides paying to come back, it would be better

It’s get better again
I had played this game before 1.5 and it was amazing. No limit to the animals and you get wheat constantly instead of every three days. I hope that it is a new feature in the new version or I’m going to be a little upset about paying $5 for it. I hope you devs know that it was better before 1.5 and it’s starting to get better now.
