Small premium for no-frills, convenient TVM calc

No ads, though you wouldn’t expect them given this one-time charge.

Works as expected: some of the others in this space may well produce garbage data. I also prefer the calculator style and the ability to solve for the missing input. An amortisation table would have been nice, but this sort of thing is available (for free) on iPad.

There is a small learning curve: do input data first then pair with variable.

Please rotate your device to landscape orientation as all financial functions are only visible in that orientation. Once you are in landscape orientation the left half of the buttons scroll to show you more and more functions. I hope you can find them by following these instructions. So bad

This app is literally so awful.. barely works, terrible interface, counter intuitive, and it froze after trying to use it for 5 minutes. I literally had to shut down my phone.

Please let us know the sequence of calculations that you were trying to perform that caused the calculator to freeze. Also if you could please share with us more detailed feedback as why you think it’s not working or counterintuitive, we’d appreciate that. If we see that there are gaps within Financial++ that makes it less useful for some users we will make every effort to make this better for more of our users. Trash calculator

A waste of money. The calculator freezes and doesn’t calculate your answer. Primarily on the I/Y function. I want a refund.

Cannot compute YTM or I/Y

Computing everything else seems fine, such as PV or FV; however, when I try to compute I/Y, the calculator stops responding and my screen freezes. After only 30min or so after downloading, I’ve found that this app does not work properly. I’ll be asking Apple Support for my money back.

Can you please provide us the known values that you are entering in TVM parameters to calculate I/Y? If you could send us those values through the support email within the app, that would be the best.

Total enigma

No explanation of how to get past first window so as to be able to use the app. Don’t need simple calculator. If it holds secrets worth knowing the app doesn’t give a clue about how to get to them.

Have you tried rotating your phone to the landscape orientation? The calculator shows more and in fact all the financial calculations in the landscape mode. Furthermore, in the landscape orientation, the left half of buttons scroll and show more functions. Please do not hesitate to contact us through the support email accessible from the app for further clarification.

Wasted money

This app is not as advertised. Unless there is a secret sequence it will not calculate the mortgage amount after inserting the payment, interest and amortization period. If I just wanted to calculate payment there are many free apps that will do that

I usually don't bother writing reviews but for this one i had to. Awesome financial calculator. Made my TI obsolete. So simple to use and very attractive user interface.

Solid Finance App

Rock solid financial calculator. Does everything I needed my TI for. Looks great in iOS 7. Love the menu mode where you can recall your variables. It keeps a history of your calculations as well. Very well done!

Please try again! With all the updates we’ve done we would be surprised it won’t work on iPhone 5S. In fact iPhone 5S is the favorite phone of one of our developers.

Great App. Nice and helpful GUI.

Great financial calculator with helpful in-app instructions. Comes handy for fast mortgage and interest rate calculations.
There are also useful examples on the support website.

Very solid finance calc! Cash flow analysis with capability to rearrange cash flows and see the updated results right away is fantastic. Two big thumbs up!!!!!
