RPN is so much easier!
Way Faster Than The Real HP12c
Great for on the road
Calc
No trackpad support for iPad
The only thing that is missing is the trackpad support. You cant click on anything with the trackpad/mouse for whatever reason. Probably an easy fix, but just a FYI if you plan on purchasing.
Good but with a few bugs
Main annoyance is the “EEX” button is coded incorrectly; for example typing “100 EEX 3” gives 10^23 instead of 10^5.
Excellent, but not without minor bugs
The only thing you should know about it is the SWAP (X<>Y) key is mislabeled- it looks like it got translated somehow to "X<not equals sign>Y". The key still does what it' supposed to do. It also doesn't have backspace but this wasn't on the original HP-12c so it's forgivable.
It works under iPad multitasking- (very few calculators do)-- it has some font problems in multitasking but it's usable.
Great replication of Hp RPN financial calculator
hard to see, found fix!
Edit. if you hit ENTER then * it will toggle to another color combo. Keep doing that until you find one you like.
Ok, but has font-sizing bug in multitask mode
Great
Great for price
Yikes! No Help or instructions
Almost as great as the real deal
While I still break out my actual 12-c from time to time, I mostly use the virtual one on all my devices - iPhone, iPad and various Macs.
Getting this little widget was a no-brainer, and is a very serviceable 12-c substitute (if you're a long-time 12-c user) or new experience (for you youngsters out there).
12-c review
Won't be disappointed
That said, this is still my go to for quick out of the office calculations. Thank you for a clean, easy to use 12c!
At Last--Maybe A Financial Calculator For Visually Impaired!
Looking forward to digging in.
Free version of HP 12c
I wish their was more user manual institutions listed in the app and took a few minutes to find out how to change the keyboard and back-screen colors. Go down to the 'sun' button on the bottom-left side, and you can scroll through keyboard colors with a white or black back-ground.
Good Enough
I'll agree with many others that the premature and persistent asking one to write a review gets annoying after a while.
Review
It would be nice to have a help button. It has been a while since I used a financial calculator and the to the power-(^) button is nonexistent? && The yX button is not working for me.. I tried how I would with other financial calculators but no luck. I even googled how to do it and every way that is on the Internet is not compatible with this calculator for Powers. My TI 82 was in my closet for years and when I pulled it out the batteries had rusted & corroded making it useless.
