What's New in FinancialHealth.io

2.5.0

October 14, 2026

Your retirement plan now separates what you're WORTH from what you can SPEND. Rental equity is wealth, but you can't buy groceries with it — and its rent is already counted as income, so drawing on the value too would count the same money twice. The plan now shows both figures side by side and says why they differ. If your "portfolio at retirement" looks smaller than before, this is why: the old number was spending your houses. See the plan in today's money. Every figure can be shown as what it would buy TODAY instead of the actual dollars of a future year, so spending that looks like it triples by your eighties reads as what it is: the same life, priced later. A plain-English reading, before any chart — what your properties earn, what your life costs, what the mortgages take — and the options you could actually take, ranked, each priced and showing what it does to the odds. Set the assumptions the plan rests on. Filing status, state tax rate, household size, healthcare, and your spouse's age and Social Security were all being guessed. You can now answer them, and the plan tells you which are still guesses. Your Financial Health Score now tells you what a good score is. Each of the five dimensions shows where it stands in words, the target to aim for in its own units — six months of spending in cash, debt under 36% of income, rent covering the mortgage 1.25x — and the one change that would move it most, in dollars from your own ledger. Two reports that were web-only: Net Cash Flow and the Annual Summary, readable a property at a time. Also fixed: • Passive income no longer counts your property manager's owner draws twice, so cash-flow coverage reflects what the properties actually earn. • Monthly averages are measured against the months your data actually covers. If an import stopped, figures no longer read as though nothing had changed. • The bank-connection notice on Transactions no longer takes over the screen, and closes when you tap it. It shows the connection that needs attention; the healthy ones are one tap away. • Property tax read from an escrow statement is now the amount your lender actually paid, not the amount it estimated it would pay.
