He’s got the Power!

Looking forward to seeing his name rise in music production. Now we’re playing with Power!

Search results are questionable….

I like that this app can function as a directory, but the search algorithm is… questionable. The fact that you can search your “favorite artist/song” and get recommendations to achieve that sound would be amazing… except you can type any name and it will give you results. Any name. I searched Tom Misch, Kendrick Lamar, Thundercat, and other big names, one at a time, and got app suggestions for each artist. Then I searched “Xander Elion” and I was surprised to see results since I’m not a big name. Then, I searched my late father’s name and got search results. He loved to sing, but he never recorded or released any music. This gives me the impression that the search results are… random, regardless of what you search. This impression calls the accuracy of all search results into question. The point I’m making is go into it with a grain, rather, a tablespoon of salt.

Such a great idea!

And already lots of quick improvements from the dev. High hopes for this one!
