Needs CarPlay

Very nice app for finding +93. Would love a CarPlay app for driving

Works flawlessly

Fantastic app. Great job to dev

Response from developer

Thanks so much for your review! Really appreciate it!

Developer makes changes per comments and is active.

I made the suggestion previously to add a way to confirm and see the last time it was confirmed. I’m happy to see that feature.

I now have another request. I love the ads from the app portion. I just added a new station that has 93 and E85. But I could only select 93 or 94+. Would be nice to have a 93 AND E85 option. I usually add it in the comment section.

Thank you for the amazing app though!!!

Waste

Doesn’t load the stations, deleted app and loaded again it only works sometimes

Response from developer

Sorry you had a bad experience. I've not heard any feedback about stations not loading. Perhaps you're in an area where there are no gas stations that have 93? That's just an assumption, but I hope you give the app another shot! You can add new stations yourself, and report stations that are on the map that don't have 93. Crowdsourcing is how this app runs.

Useless

App is by far accurate or updated, a lot of 93 pumps not even showing here probably outdated for years now, couldn’t find anything for my trip had to call ahead to gas stations to check

Response from developer

All the stations on the map are added by the community. If you don't see one that's on the map, you can add it. And also if you see one that shouldn't be on the map, report it and we'll get it removed. The risk with crowd sourcing is always there being stations on the map that don't have 93. But I think for the most part we keep it pretty up to date.

Love this crowdsourced app

The app developer processes requests to add or remove stations IF YOU REPORT THEM. I wasn’t thrilled with the $5 fee, but I also hate wasting time looking for 93 octane in my area.

What I might suggest is an additional field for ethanol %. There are several stations in the Wichita, KS, area that offer 93 octane, but many of them are 30% ethanol (or E30), and won’t work in my vehicle.

Response from developer

Thanks for the feedback. I've put a lot of work into making the app over the last 10 years and the app fee is a small price to pay for the convenience. The other option woulda been to load up with ads, but I hate ads. So I hope you understand. It's only a one time fee, so you'll have the app forever ad free. =) I'll think about adding a field for ethanol percentage. Right now there's a description field that people often add information about the pumps like ethanol or ethanol free. Might be something I add as a field in the future though. Thanks again!

No 93

First location did not have 93. Second location didn’t even exist.

Supporting the creator of the web version

Post Dev response
Sweet! I love the app and now how supportive you are about the suggestions. I do think it would make the app used more often and could see people being more reliable with it. I know I’ll use that button whenever I can. Looking forward to the update!

Original review
I’ve used the web version before and wanted to support the creator for that one. I’ve used this extensively in the mid west where 93 octane is rare.

If I could make a suggestion if I would say if you could add when the station was updated or uploaded. As well maybe a confirmation button users can hit to verify that it still has 93 like the “report no 93” button

On the Road

A friend recommended “Find93” app…for those of us moving around and about, it’s will quickly become your #1 app. No matter what city I’m in, Find93 guides me to one station…as opposed to cruising around trying to get lucky at that next gas station! Note, if you find a station serving 93, don’t hesitate to request to add it to the map…just had a great experience in Chicagoland area…well done Paul!

Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you're finding the app useful!

Add the calculator please

The app seems to work great, but it’s basically just a map. Not many stations around me, pretty much confirmed the locations I already knew. That being said, there’s a great little calculator on his website to mix fuels to get to 93 octane. Not sure it makes business sense for the app to direct you to his website, which basically does the same thing as the app… That I just spent five bucks on.

Wrong octane and stations

Just downloaded the app and the information about the station is wrong that are close to my house that I use all the time what a waste of 4.99 I BE SUCKED

Response from developer

Thanks for your feedback. Find93 is a crowd-sourced map, and I work hard to keep it updated, but it relies heavily on help from the community to stay current. I’m making updates to the map daily and really appreciate when users share updates — it helps everyone. I tried to make it as easy as possible to report stations that have incorrect info or don't have 93 or higher octane at their pumps, so I can make the updates necessary. That way others in your same situation don't get misled. I hope you’ll continue using the app and be part of the community!

Don’t buy

Just junk…Don’t buy this!
Old ones worked not this.

Response from developer

Sorry you don't find the app useful. I'm not sure what you mean by "Old ones worked not this." But the crowd sourced map has over 5,300 locations and growing with every app user. If you just don't have 93 octane in your area, I hope you're not blaming that on the app. I definitely don't control where the 93 octane gas is. Just made a tool for people to try to find it. If it were up to me, I wouldn't have needed to build the app, all gas stations would just have 93 at their pumps.

Ease of Use

Straight forward, and easy to use. Adding stations is easy and the developer is responsive as well.

Response from developer

Thanks for the nice review! Much appreciated.

Useful app, love it

I recently bought a car that takes 93 octane and this app has been a lifesaver, especially on road trips in unfamiliar areas. The map is pretty well populated, but it’s worth noting that the map is based on crowdsourced data. This results in it missing some stations, but you can submit requests to add or remove stations as necessary. And that’s part of the fun, helping the community. I love this app, and it saved me many extra miles of driving around searching for a station. Highly recommend it

Great resource!!!

Prior to downloading this app it was difficult to find 93 octane gas stations. Since installing the app I have had no difficulty locating fuel. Very easy to check and add new stations not already included too. A BIG thank you to the app designer/moderator!!!

Response from developer

You're welcome! Thanks for the kind words!

Worse Than Useless

Complete waste of time and money. The app identified stations that did not have 93 octane, and overlooked stations that did have it.

Response from developer

Sorry you feel that way, I don't intend to waste anyone's time or money. As mentioned in the description, the app is crowd sourced. Gas stations that have 93 but aren't on the map can easily be added if someone shares it. And yes we do get stations identified / added that don't have 93. But we rely on the crowd sourcing for both good and bad stations.
