They don’t pick up a signal at all. They keep saying colder colder, colder warm, cold cold cold, and I can’t pick up a signal at all on them I’m not sure what’s happening please help

This app is not perfect
The description and the app says that an Apple AirPod in the closed case will not broadcast a Bluetooth signal. I lost one of my AirPods but the app keeps leading me to my other one in the closed case so it’s not doing me any good in finding the lost one which I’m pretty sure was lost and n my house. I even took the case off of the charger to see if that would help but that didn’t work either. I’m very frustrated. I’m trying to avoid having to buy a new set.

So I lost my AirPods and I am stressing because I’m trying to find my new AirPods I got and they disconnected to my phone and I’ve tried every other app. Tell me find it so I came across this one on TikTok and I thought it was really good at first, but then it said that it’s close since it’s close to methat I need to do like some sort of subscription and pay first of all I don’t wanna pay just to find my AirPods I just want to use my AirPods for tomorrow and it’s telling me I have to pay just to find my AirPods. It looks like a really cool app, but I’m not paying.

It’s not clear whatsoever that you can’t find the AirPods if they are in a case. It’s the first thing you find out AFTER you paid. I can’t find the fine print. Shame on this app for knowingly operating with disguised information. Enjoy your gain on ethical merit. Shame on you.

I just spent $5.99 for a complete waste of money. I can’t find my new AirPods 2 so I downloaded this app to help find them. All it did was guide me to the charging case. Not the AirPods!

What A Bust!!
I am so annoyed with myself for wasting $5.99 for a week long subscription in a desperate attempt to find my lost (R) AirPod. I know it’s in my house somewhere, and FindMy shows the last known location in my dining room, but this so gave me nothing! Sure it could tell me my not lost (L) AirPod is, but after walking slowly through the whole house it didn’t connect to my lost AirPod let along direct me to it. I knew better than to pay for this, but I let my hopelessly optimistic side get the better of me. Let this be your warning so you don’t end up with buyers remorse and 0 recovered items like me.
