Une seule page par jour à scanner

Bonne application que J’a apprécié pendant une longue durée. Le modèle économique du développeur impose malheureusement la possibilité de scanner gratuitement une et une seule page par jour.

Abstürze beim iPhone 16 Pro

Auf meinem iPhone SE 2 und Vorgängern war diese App spitze. Das hat sich völlig verändert, seitdem ich sie auf einem iPhone 16 Pro nutze. Seit über einem Jahr ist diese App für eine Seite mit Einschränkungen zu nutzen, sobald ich mehrere Seiten scannen möchte, kommt ein Absturz dazwischen und ich muss von vorne anfangen. Nach dem Absturz sind die bereits gescannten Seiten wieder vorhanden, es können aber keine weiteren Seiten hinzugefügt werden. Gut, bei einer Seite lästig und ärgerlich, bei mehreren Seiten eine Zumutung. Wenn ich schnell bin, schaffe ich bis zu drei Seiten in mehreren Anläufen. Mehr Seiten sind nicht zu schaffen, da ich nach jedem Absturz neu anfangen muss. Dies ist nicht die einzige App, die mit der Umstellung auf das iPhone 16 Pro Probleme zeigte, alle anderen Entwickler haben ihre Apps jedoch nachgebessert, so dass ich sie heute nutzen kann. Bei dieser App ist das bislang nicht erfolgt. Das ist besonders schade, da die neue Vorschau – App von Apple bei einem bestehenden Foto nur einen rechteckigen und keinen individuellen Zuschnitt erlaubt.

No problems so with premium version so far, works like a breeze bought for £22. Abbyy FineReader does try to plug the companies other products to you but fortunately this is not obnoxious or obtrusive and can be easily skipped if you pay attention.

ARでスキャンして整えたPDFデータをドライブにアップロードすることが出来なくなった。 2023.08月から送信しようとすると Invalid Value エラーになる。

Add More Language such as Sanskrit Nepali Hindi Nepali language and Nepal bhasa is different though so Add Nepali Language every Nepali will understand

I used this app for years and I accidentally updated all my apps, this one being one of them. The update is the worst and now I am forced to go to premium, no easy upload to the cloud, and fine print does not come in clear and concise as it did prior to the update. Now I have to find another app to use!

Poor OCR capabilities

I expected better from Abby FineReader and I subscribed in order to access the OCR for some medical records I’m working with, but it does a terrible job! Why can’t an OCR engine scan from left to right, line by line??? Instead I get a massive mess of a page with the content mixed together out of order. EDIT: I was encouraged when the developer reached out asking for more info, so I took the time and emailed them with additional info about my computer specs, the prompts I used, and the issues I had with their app. However, instead of an appropriate response, I got an email back a couple days later with a link to sign up for an account. Just more No Service Customer service…

Weaker than expected

OCR does not work really good, even if you crop the document to make it focus on just one part, will add extra information out of nowhere.

Another great app ruined

Premium subscriber for years using it to create pdfs from photo scans. Now it just slaps a photo onto a white background. WTH? What is the point of this app now?

Annoying update

Before you could have your pictures saved and look up latest photos to make a pdf, now you have to have it in a dedicated album to use said photos. It creates unnecessary steps when there was nothing wrong with how it was before of being able to use latest photos.

Features removed

Features are behind a different paywall now, separate from what you may have purchased before. You also can’t open files from your phone for OCR it seems, only the camera roll or camera app— even with the new monthly subscriptions.

Comprei a licença pra conversão ilimitada de documentos e pra forçar o cliente a comprar a versão pro de 299 reais tiraram a função quer permitia usar o OCR e fazer a conversão de word pra pdf.
