Don’t trust this company

They stopped updating this $60 app to release a new version with subscriptions. This is utterly shameful and I’ll never trust them again.

Zero stars

This is just a simple camera something your normal phone camera can do. I wanted it to capture a book thinking this app will make it faster. A complete waste of money genius scan is waaay better!

Great OCR with only one remark

FineReader is well known for its superior OCR quality and this app stands for its name.

The only thing I wished it done better is Searcheable PDFs. For some reason, FineReader modifies original PDF by replacing image text with recognized text. IMO documents appear to be a bit fabricated and I really like approach by Adobe Scan and others that keep scanned image text intact and instead place background text so it remain searchable while keeping original image intact.

Habe sie seit Jahren und bin sehr zufrieden mit dieser App! Ich kann die Größe ändern und für mich das wichtigste: aus Fotos PDF‘s herstellen und diese dann mit geringeren Tintenverbrauch ausdrucken und trotzdem einen schönen Glanz zu haben.

Could be great !

Great functionality but lacking file management and organization. Unable to list files by different attributes. Cannot create folder structures. Good scanning functionality and support for storing on most cloud storage services.

Unfortunately, I may search for an other app

I use Fine Reader for many years. I have paid version for Windows and for mobile (even since it was for life). But now, as a proof that better is the enemy of good, on my iOS I cannot load images in app and in the app I cannot see the gallery itself: it categorizes me the pictures doing what I am not interested .

After the recent app update the thing no longer works. I paid over $150 for this app. This is NOT good

“Request for Refund Due to Accidental Purchase by a Minor”

A purchase was mistakenly made by my young, underage daughter. I requested the cancellation of the transaction, but the refund for the one-year subscription was unfortunately denied. This is truly disappointing.

It is a scam

It does not have any way to open a pdf from your device, it uses only your camera, and the app does not meet google’s API so it is blocked. If you got an pdf on your tablet, this app will do nothing for you, it is a scam. 60 euros wasted for an ap that is literally useless. Thanks Abbyy.

The app stopped splitting pages

Autocrop or autocrap

It used to be a great app. I don’t know if it’s about having the latest iPad, but after manually change every boundary of 250 pages, by mistake I pressed retake, and all my boundaries went lost… what’s the use of autocrop in this app? I don’t know, it rarely works.

7500円は高い。

初期のスキャン精度に依存する。→そんなことはスキャンソフトが世の中に出回り始めた時からわかっている。それをいつまでも言い訳の隠れ蓑にしないでいただきたい。ちなみに、元データグチャグチャの状態でスキャンしたわけではありません。以前レビューしていたどなたかがおっしゃっておりましたが、手直しが大変なのは事実です。ほんと返金して欲しいです。
