THE best weather forcaster for upstate NY
My boss once mentioned that this is more accurate than the national apps and she is absolutely right. Plus, the developer is a local Cornell trained meteorologist so you are supporting a local business and family.

I started following Fingerlakes Weather years ago on FB. Then followed on Twitter and now an app! We live in Trumansburg, NY. This is hands down the best forecast for the Fingerlakes area. One of the best things is that there is never a hyped up forecast, no grab your milk grab your bread type forecasts. He tells you what he knows. I love the app as well!

Great source for local weather
The weather forecasting is excellent. No misleading hype, great to have a focus on local weather! I use the website more than the app, but that’s just because I’m usually at my computer. App seems stable and functional when I do use it.
I wish the app would have the option of Fahrenheit and Celsius, as I am trying to learn Celsius. But almost no weather apps do that, so it’s not a criticism- just a wish!

No better source of weather information!
For the last two years I have visited the FLX Weather website for The Best and Most Accurate forecasts for the NY Finger Lakes area. So excited that there is now an app! This gentleman provides a highly skilled forecast with a personal touch through his live weather blogs when conditions are dangerous. If you live in the Finger Lakes area this app is a must have!

I am happy to report that my voice was heard almost immediately. Drew had his techies right on it and let me know when it was ready for prime time. I downloaded it again and all is hunky dory.
Lovely app for our area and it automatically knows which part of the Finger Lakes I live in.
