Great

Love it, it’s worth every cent if you take the time to learn it.
Thanks.

Needs to be easier to use

Please make it user friendly to the beginners and make it have a multi touch feature. Overall, just make it easier to use. I don't think anyone wants to go through seeing 5 or more tutorials on how to use this app.

Terrible

Stay away, seriously. The controls are terrible, none responsive, honestly, I don't know if I'm doing anything. It feels like it's just a picture that I'm zooming in and out.
Needs some serious upgrades, or a complete revamp
Can't believe I spent $10 on a piece of sh**

Can't begin to rate the program.

If there were some directions on how to use the program, it may be a good program. Unfortunately, the program is not as user friendly as one would imagine. How about giving directions with a 10.00 app!

Dreadful, sadly.

Anyone hoping - like myself - for some kind of Amapi 3D for the iPad: don't bother. This is not the solution you are looking for. It's ugly, inelegant, unenjoyable, and buggy. Even if it were free I would delete it. That it cost me so much leaves a very sour taste in my mouth.

I want this to work

This is the most interesting 3d app I have seen. it is like Blender in many ways. however, it is clugy to use. It will be very hard to make anything with the tools that are there. The button layout is very difficult because they are so small and can't be changed. I hope the creator improves this app because there is nothing in 3d that is very functional for the iPad, but this one could be.

update looks good, but it is too hard to move thins around. the screen makes more sense now.

Bad interface

Interface is less than desirable. Not very user friendly.

Is this real or fake?

I got this thinking it more convenient and easy in a hands on way...
This app is either "super un-user-friendly", or a fake!

I was so excited to start modeling with a professional 3D app. I've worked on lightwave and expected something along the same line with Finger3D. With its pics of examples of what you could create, it looked like it would deliver...

Don't get me wrong, I really hope this app will deliver

The problem is this... It feels more like a demo or a display and not a real functional program. The creators of this program seem to be the only ones that know how to use it. In which case it would be most helpful and needed if they provide intro how-to tutorials because of Finger3D's unique setup.

Thanks and I'm eagerly waiting for further improvements.

Is this app serious?

Opening this app & trying out the UI for 5mins discovered that this must be a comedy retro app! It's like trying to use a really old version of auto CAD from the 90s. I though Blender had a cack UI but that has got nothing on this. Avoid like the plague cause it's pants :-/

Doesnt work

I haven't been able to load a single obj file. It freeze and lag to a point were I can't do anything. After what seam forever, I'm back at the work area, staring at the default sphere. Will need to buy something else.

Not an easy workflow

After spending good money on this I came to realise that it is not really that usable.

Far to difficult to edit and modify geometry from primitives. Anything complex is very difficult to construct.

A waste of time really.

Good application

Good application with comprehensive features. it has similar features as the PC’s software costing hundreds of pounds. It is no match for the ones that cost thousands of pounds. But we need to be reasonable in expectations considering the price (only £2.39 at the time of review) and the iPad limitation (not as powerful as a PC).

You would need to read the help file (from the developer's website) to fully learn all the features.

The developer appears to regularly update his application. He also listened to my suggestions and implemented them promptly in this update.

CONCLUSION:
- good application with comprehensive features
- help file on the developer’s website is a must read
- regularly updated
- reasonable cost

Not good

It's like they put the app out when they were like 1/3rd done. It's a frustrating interface, and they lied about the rendering, all it does is take a screen shot, note they said it "starts to render" that's because it doesn't actually finish.
Plus the icons is terrible. Infact I think it's safe to say that there is a direct correlation between icon design quality, and quality of the app

Doesn't work!

Please make sure your app actually loads before you publish it!
Waste!

Great Program

After a while... this program became my favorite. Wow. Thank You for making my dream come true.

1st draft!!

Good to see there are 3d apps being made for the iPad. Being a 1000mhz processor you can't expect much more than a simple modeling app at this stage. This app is defiantly in it's infancy and seems a little too rushed to be published. With no instructions provided, I'm quickly thrown into confusion. Then the lack of an undo button makes things even more annoying. If you were looking at buying this, I would hold off until further developments. Or be like me and buy it at it's cheapest and wait for free upgrades.

I like it OK, Want it to do simple vectors

I draw figures in 3d to explain physical concepts in electromagnetics. Auto CAD is too much for my needs. 2D drawers are not enough. I evaluated this app, and I can see great potential in it. the best i've found to date. I want to use this app do draw simple vectors in 3d space, and drop projections on the coodinate axes; this is not a feature, but I hope simple vector geometry will be an update. I would like to rotate shapes aound an arbitrary vector too.
