Wrong contra fingerings

The contra has different fingerings than bassoon. They are all wrong after e natural

Great content - *HUGE* battery drain!!

I’ve been using this app for a while, but recently it has become a huge on my battery. In the last 24 hours it has run 4 minutes on screen and over 16 hours in the background representing 50% of my battery drain for the day. This happens on multiple devices. I have tried deleting ND and reinstalling but the problem still exists.

Amazing resource

Great app overall. I have one critical update request to make the app much easier to use with students: PLEASE allow an option to switch to “light mode” from within the settings of the app. The dark mode visuals on the app are difficult for students to read. Since many of us use dark mode on our iOS devices overall, I have to switch to light mode on my entire phone or iPad every time I want to use the app with a student (and then back again afterwards). This is very time-consuming and annoying. Please fix this issue. Thank you!

Needs huge improvements

I am not able to hear the saxophone sounds , only piano, even after selecting alto saxophone. Nonsense

No Sound :(

Will the app be updated for the latest iOS? There is no sound at all. Even with muting and unmuting.

SOUND NOT WORKING

Awesome music app. But there is no sound.

Great band app

It’s definitely the best app for me and my friends, we are in a high school band and it helps, although it may be expensive its definitely worth it.

No sound

We need this app updated,no sound at all.

Make your own fingering option

I love this app. Always use it when I’m need of a reference. But there should an option to create your own fingerings and write notes for that fingering. I am a professional who sometimes uses alternate fingerings to change tone or make passages smoother. This feature would make leagues easier to keep up with my ever growing library of fingerings.

Great reference app!

This app is excellent!
I went for the one with brass and woodwind info and it does not disappoint. There are a full range of instruments to choose from, including trombone, french horn and Cor Anglais.

Alternative finger positions are easily accessed and it is so simple to move the note up and down by dragging, then left for flat and right for sharp. Very well thought out!

The stability is excellent and it hasn’t once crashed on my iPhone XS.

Highly recommended!!!!

Fantastic resource!

This has been on my iPod, iPhone, and iPad for many years now and has always been helpful when I have a brain fart on my woodwind fingerings for alternates and trills. Its also a quick way to give a clear visual to students so that I don’t have to say numbers and spin an instrument around wildly to show which fingers are used. This is particularly helpful for beginning clarinetists with too many pinky keys to handle.

Some helpful ideas:
1. fix the piccolo finger chart (it is VERY atypical for a piccolo to have a low D-flat or C).
2. Incorporate some extended range fingers (clarinet is already screaming high, but some standard rep has flutes going up to D and higher and almost all modern saxophone repertoire will have a G6 at least)
3. Add a chart for recorders! Both Baroque and German. (This is actually a recent need for me and what is leading to me writing a review today). Many musicals ask woodwind doublers to include recorder in their arsenal, so this would be very helpful to that group.

Great but some fingerings are missing

Saxophones can play Dflat 3, you just don’t have the fingering for it. It is the lowest note on the saxophone besides a low A on baritone saxophone

Perfect Reference Tool

I use Fingerings for Alto Sax, Soprano Sax, Eflat and Bflat Clarinet. Would be hard to live without.

Da Best

Great app. Accurate. I teach instrumental music in Jr. High and High School. I use it regularly every year. Shows alternate fingerings and trills. When students see the app, they want to download it for themselves as well.

Yay!

One of the most helpful music apps out there, absolutely necessary for music educators and music education students!

Great tool

Fantastic tool for any band director!

Sax player

There are notes missing on altissimo.

Good app

Needs to have an option to see their pitch rather than the default concert pitch. Include more alternate fingerings for woodwinds as well. With those options I would rate it 5 stars.

This is an all-in-one fingering App

This is a must have for all:
1. Band masters.
2. Music directors & Conductors
3. Aspiring Instrumentalists
4. Music Students
5. Music fun and hobbyist

This app is understandable whether one can read music or not. I recommend it to every music professional. You will not regret this purchase.

Incredible help!

This is one of the best apps I paid money for. It is worth every penny! Just buy it!!!
