Whoever coded this app should stop coding and find a different profession. A 16 year old kid making TikTok ads could code a whole Authenticator app better😹

Is this app for real?
Requires a QR code to proceed but one was not sent to me nor even mentioned in any of the instructions found on tulli.fi. I therefore cannot pay for the duties of my shipment ie. I cannot receive what I ordered. I thought Finland was technically advanced.
Agree it’s totally useless
Keeps crashing, so expats have absolutely no way of accessing online services. Woeful.

This app should not be available. I have tried to use it several times and it crashes every time I try to scan the requested QR code. The app is embarrassing example of poor design and maintenance and makes the life of expats very difficult Beca we cannot access any Finnish services online.

After update to iOS 17 it just doesn’t work.

It just sucks that Finnish customs online won’t allow users to login with this app, basically foreigners cannot fill out the import customs clearance on their own. €26 just to be able to get my package is stupid.
Embarrassing for Finland
For a country that tries to position itself at the cutting edge of technology, this is an app that fails the most basic requirements of usability.
Tried for 15 minutes to scan a passport. Then tried alternative route of taking selfie. App crashed. On re-start there was no record or resumption of the identification process and was unable to restart and get back to the same point to retry.
It is however very secure as I can’t get authenticated.

Dreadful
Do not do business in Finland - you have to go through the ordeal of verifying yourself on this pointless app. Set aside at least 10 months to get it working and expect high blood pressure. Appealing waste of time.

trying to ship a package to finland and the customs website tells me to use this app. doesn’t give me a qr code but the app requires one to proceed.
Pointless
Pointless app, offers no purpose once gone through all the long winded registration process. Then it lost my ability to login after a while.

App Doesn’t Work
The Finnish Authenticator App doesn’t work. It barely reads any documents and when it finally does it says it can’t process them. The app is totally useless. Maybe the developer could try themselves to see if it reads any actual identification documents?
It doesn’t work
It tried with both, my ID and my passport but they never accept the documentation. After 20 mins trying I submitted a ticket. I received an answer after 3 days with a list of rules on how to take a photo of my documents (that of course I had already followed before) and saying that my ticket was closed and if I need further help open a new ticket.
